So apparently he died of an overdose. Naked. He was found by his maid.

Anyone else wonder if she pulled a Tatsuya on him? *snickers*

I honestly didn't know who he was other than a second rate actor, I mean if the only movie they list he started in was broke back mountain...

Yeah, he's Joker. He got his break in 10 Things I Hate About You, and was in one of my favorite strangely entertaining movies, A Knight's Tale. He's Dead Young Actor #2 in as many weeks, by the way. Brad Renfro, who played the kid in The Client, turned up dead a week ago.

Yes he is. It appears that they've got all his scenes.. I'm hoping they don't have to reshoot anything.

I can feel bad that this guy died, but I don't know enough of his work to be in a fit of culture shock.

He was in some pretty awesome Aussie movies before he went to Hollywood, and I think he was talented. It's sad.

all my friends really liked him.

we were all kind of waiting for him to bust out and turn into a super cool actor. With the new batman movie that look likely.

but now...

when i heard he was dead my first response was "can they fix it?"

I bet he was killed by hollywood producers so his movies would sell more. Killing him at this point in his career would make DVD sales skyrocket.

I'm not going to watch any of his movies, and I urge everyone to boycott them just to show hollywood that murdering talent isn't acceptable.

According to various sources playing "the Joker" messed with him. He was on various sleeping pills to help him.

Heard a better one on the Fark thread.

It's a shame he overdosed on pills when he should have gone to see his accountant. Everyone knows a good accountant can fix an unbalanced Ledger.
