Have you ever had one of those dreams where you stop dreaming, wake up, get out of bed, go brush your teeth, etc. and then wake up for real? and get pissed cause you have to do the whole routine again?

Heh, I have nested dreams a fair bit... one of the worst ones though was a nested nightmare when I was about 8 years old...

I found myself in bed, looked at the door, noticed it was opening slowly and that something scary was peeking in, and I screamed and woke up. Oh, heck yeah. I had this rather lengthy dream about me fighting off monsters and zombies in my back yard that eventually transformed into me fighting God (well, a supernatural, powerful floating head that CLAIMED to be God, anyway) who was summoning zombies on a temple to stop me. I somehow had the combined powers of both Lightbringer from my comic and the main character from my Angel Armor books. I fought "God" for a bit and defeated him, waking up.

I get up and start walking out towards the bathroom when the house starts shaking and falling apart, with "God" trying to get at me. Then I wake up for real.

I don't have wet dreams. when I do dream it's always like an independent film from the 70s; one minute you've got a black-and-white scene of a woman just sitting there, then she licks a table, next thing you know you're watching a clown microwave hotpockets.

then there's this one dream that's been reoccurring over the past week. I'm being chased by this nutjob with a gun, he chases me into a kitchen that's familiar, even though I've never seen any kitchen like it in my life. I take refuge in a closet or cuppord, or whatever the hell it is, and there's a sawed off shotgun right there for me. I grab it, poke my head out, he's there -always with a different gun, first time with an identical shotgun, last night with a top-break tube magazine'd pistol caliber rifle-, he fires once, I he misses, and then I let him have both barrels. the first time he just died, last night, though, he flopped over on the table, then I nailed him to it and hacked his arms and legs off with a meat cleaver.

My dreams are always fucked up.

weirdest masturbation dream - Masturbating with an oddly shaped parsnip. In a grocery store.

Whenever I have dreams where someone's trying to kill me, I try to shoot them, but it's like my gun is always a pellet gun, it barely slows them down, they just keep coming at me.

I once had a dream where i was sitting on a curb in front of a convenience store and someone with an automatic weapon started shooting me in the side of the neck. I could feel the bullets going into my neck (no pain, just the sensation of repeated bullets going into my neck) and it really creeped me out.

I also had a dream that scared the crap out of me when i was probably ten-ish... I used to sleepwalk and sleeptalk back then... I dreamt that someone killed me, but i could still see what was going on around me. I was lying on the floor dead and i saw the police come, and they put a white sheet over my head, at which point I woke up, and my (white) sheets were pulled up over my head. Scary shit.

does anyone else frequently have dreams where they can fly, but it's not particularly efficient flight?

I frequently dream that i have to kind of slowly levitate straight up, then i soar until i hit the ground again, or that I have to flap my arms in order to keep flying.

usually when i have dreams of someone trying to kill me, they do whatever they were trying to do, i fail to die, and then i gouge out their eyes or windpipe, depending on which my hands ended up closer to.

I've had many dreams where I can jump really high and sort of float before coming back down again...
