Yan and I thought maybe our surnames would be good 'cute' cartoon names. Then came the debate about whether they should be two similar and cute animals, or two animals of the same cute species. What does everybody here think? We thought maybe a cow and a bunny... hrm..

Actually, Danjel suggested to me the other day that it could work with a panda and a bunny too? It'd probably work better wif our names won't it evenstar?

Yeh, I spose... but wouldn't they be stating the obvious? I thought it would be funny to make them so unlike their names... like calling a dog, "Cat", so-to-speak
------------------

Dunno about you, but I *refuse* to be a rodent Neither am I that slow.. neither are you for that matter... then again, could I be taking it too personally? Lack of sleep does do that to one, methinks.
(BTW, I am sitting at my uni library computer terminal, on this bright, early and sunshiney Monday morning, feeling like a crazy mong who got out of bed six hours before she should be.. or could it be becos I woke up at 2 in the afternoon yesterday )
------------------

A kangaroo and a yobbo would be interesting.. though I doubt either of us would care to lend our names to such a mysoginistic character
Alternatively, we could do a wet theme, and do a polar bear and a penguin? Or is it my imagination, but that's been done already??? Aaaargh hallucination time has set in... Sleeeep.... zzzzzzzz.....
------------------

Lol! Polar bear could be good...I'd have a hell of an easier time drawing a polar bear than a panda anyway...every panda I've tried to draw looks like a bashed up teddy bear :/
Hmmm...how about a snake and a bear?

How'd you like to know, that I spent 2 hours on the library computer, only to find out when I left the spot, that my lecture tapes were already borrowed, and won't be available till after I get back from lunch with you

Anyway, I spoke to King, and he says he's giving his "full support" for our comic escapade, should we decide to ferment more than just featherbrained ideas... well, actually, he doesn't care, so long as it might be something regular Oh, and he thinks the animal thing is a good idea

Hmmm....think we really need to get back to the drawing boards on this one

Pan-Pan and Pung-Pung can easily be attached to the penguin and polar bear...
I can't really see any of the other pairs match with the names...
Just a thought...
------------------

WL: that's true; but, I can hardly realise a uni comic based on the amazing adventures of 'pung pung' and 'pan pan' I think we'd better just leave those names out of the equation
------------------

But who said we have to have only one comic? We could get a few different ones up and running... would encourage people to contibute to the site and to visit the site too...
Hey, I think I'm onto something...

Heh...actually...two fish could be interesting...or maybe even a seal and something else?
Aaarghh, too many combinations!

Heh, I'll reiterate what I said earlier - we SOO need to get back to those drawing boards!

True, but you need people to actually work up the motivation to draw these comics first, before you think about putting several of them up mentally. Aside from me and Yan, have you heard anybody else who is interested in doing a comic?
------------------

Ok, while I was 'listening' to my lecture tapes, I thought maybe a mad scientist, and his (living) invention? Or, two fish in a tank... or two guys at a bar... the latter two will probably be easily interchangeable *cringes from all the outraged male species who might read this*...
------------------
