Sorry for that slightly offhand subject title. I just thought that the unveiling of Luke's true nature is pretty interesting. And I'll admit, I was pretty shocked!Anyway, just wanted to say that your details and facial expressions are great, AC! You've really come a long way in making your characters expressive.Not only that, I wanted to repay you for humoring me over on my site, being the only one who has talked to me!Oh, BTW, my cousin, my brother and I were hanging out this past week, and we all visited and read your site. We had a blast reading it, and I think you've got one more reader because of it. Oh, and if you didn't know yet, my brother also draws comics and he's going to put some of his up on keenspace! Yeah.. I remember you told me your brother does comics! That sounds nifty! ^_^ I'm surprised that you were so shocked about Luke. I mean.. I PRACTICALLY gave it away! The irish last name, all the green clothes.. His 4 leaf clover necklace, his red hair, his love for alchohol... The fact that he did SOMETHING to his license plate.. His license number is LUCK... Oh.. what else.... Oh .. that's right! The time I drew "practice" pics.. There were 4 leaf clovers with arrows pointing to Luke from them, and a pot of gold RIGHT NEXT to him.. come on!
Most people caught on to it (that actually TALKED to me, that is).
Well.. Ghislain didn't.
As soon as he read that he sent me an ICQ message.. "Is Luke REALLY a Leprechaun?" I never told him. I told him to continue to read to find out.But come on! Isn't it OBVIOUS??
Hehe.

Some of them will appear on Nafta.
Like "My Body Lies Over the Ocean" (you know.. the song.. "My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean" ? Well.. as a kid, I always sung it as my body. I still do. Just a couple of years ago I found out its My Bonnie. So YEAH.PLUS, I'm gonna FINALLY do THE MATRESS, my super-spiffy spoof of THE MATRIX.
(Yay!!) This will probably take up at LEAST two weeks of my Nafta time. To go in with my Parodies.
Lalala! And of course, who could forget such wonderful strips such as:
Seasons of Constancy in LA
Don't Eat the Roses!!!
RPG Planet (okay.. so that name sucks.. but the strip will have some vulgar humour in it)
The Young and the Frameless
There Be Talias!
and many, many more!I think THE MATRESS will be the main event, with all the lesser parodies (most being one strip, others being 2 or 3) leading up to it.
I can't wait!

Nonono!!
I can't draw that many strips that far in advance!! With Thermalyte, the most "in advance" I get is one week!!For Yankuckcanee, I plan to be doing all of my strips the night before.. with exception to THE MATRESS, of course. Same thing with HAAAD.. which.. I don't think I'm even going to do now..
I can't think of very many jokes for it.
I thought it would be funny to have an amish person that surfs.. Well.. that in its self might be funny. And an alien that's happy all the time. .. That might be funny in itself too. But the two of them meeting each other.. I don't know.
Maybe I should do them as two seperate comics first.. then when the characters have been developed... have them meet?Hmm....
That might work.
Or.. I'll just scrap the idea all together....

But there is nothing wrong with doing at least some of the strips in advance, if you are able to do it, because it ultimately frees up the stress time when it comes to posting the actual pages, and it acts as buffers in case real life gets in the way of your drawing it. Why, we've only just begun printing Rohan Hill and I finished the whole thing last september! <HR></BLOCKQUOTE>Well, if your parody run is going to last you your whole 3-month run, then you can do that now (since you already have your ideas for it), and postpone HAAAD for your round next year (giving you time to see if you can come up with more ideas for it or with better ideas and scrap it). He wanted me to tell you that. So start preparing for april. Then our comic-prov. I don't know what you care to call it but I don't really care - and since I'm not really sure what it's going to be like I don't have much of a good idea for a name. For now, we can call it comic-prov. Of course we'll have to add spiffy names like "the third rhythm of the grape-colored sun" or "rind synergy" or something.Ha ha, well anyway, see you round!
