I see you never get tired of saying bad things to others, harleq... Why don't you just quit? You're wasting your precious time!
And Christine isn't a canadian wannabe. She gave me good enough proofs(I'm canadian too).
btw, Gilikin, your french was kinda good. But you still need more practice. (That's the kind of comments harleq should do more often instead of provocating people).

Well, I did have 4 years of the stuff in High School, but I'm a sophomore in college right now, so it's been awhile, espically in the grammer department. I have nowhere to practice the stuff at . I like to think that I know enough to make a fool of myself, but be commended for being an American who tries. The people in France seemed to appreciate the fact that I at least tried to talk to them in French.

Oh-hohoho!
No you didn't! I'm so glad to finally be able to post something for you to read, Harleq. (it sounds like a guys name! A Ghetto guy's name. That's why everyone thinks you're a guy! And you're attitude and improper spelling and grammer doesn't help either)
I AGREE with you that I definately don't have the best drawing skills. In fact, I admit that I suck. But I've come a long way in the past three years, and I have inproved VERY VERY much, and I continue to improve every single time I draw. I know I'm not as good as Eunice, Meaghan, Emily, Geejay, Bryan, or Alice. I'm definately not as good as Naoko Takeuchi. So.. I don't mind you bad mouthing my artistic abilities. I actually commend you, for noticing that I'm not the greatest.
BUT HOW DARE YOU GO AND DISS MY STORYLINE!!!? Its DAMN GOOD if I do say so myself. And I DO SAY SO. I work hard to make the best, and most mind-bending storyline that is enjoyable to Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Comedy fans, and you tell me that it sucks????! OH NO YOU DIDN'T!
And how DARE you say that I'm not Canadian. Just because I watch American TV more than Canadian TV, or I live on the border of Canada and US (Windsor to be exact), don't say "eh" after every sentance, how DARE you question my citizenship? I LOVE CANADA. Its a great country, filled with great people, and great places (Like Toronto). It also has great food, (Like Poutine.. and all the better foods that came from our imigrated ancestors.. ie:Spaghetti!) You make me very angry at you for these two things, Harleq. But you know what. I don't care. Its your own opinion. But if all you want to do is badmouth and piss people off, I will forever ban you from this forum.
Why can't you see the cup as half-full instead of half-empty?
ARGH!! Such negative people like you piss me off!
God Bless you, Harleq! God Bless you again!
GRRR!

i live in toronto, and i vacationed to windsor last summer. strange, yes?
harle's not a "ghetto" name. i'd bet my university find that you don't even know what ghetto means. harle is a wikkid character from chrono cross with a wikkid french accent.
actually, its not the drawing that bothers me. my favourite game of all time is ffiv, with the most pants 16-bit graphics ever. even i'll admit the animated thingy at the front is pretty cool. but it doesnt seem to have a really "mind-bending" story, as you put it.
heck, i dont even know whut "mind-bending" means.

Way to go Christine! We're behind you all the way! I hope I'm not butting in here, but I felt the need to.
As to the 'not knowing what it means', what the heck is betting your "university find" doing in there? Or for that matter, the word pants, used as an adjective?
And if the drawing doesn't bother you, why critisize so harshly? Just because I can't draw well doesn't mean I don't try. I still give some of it as fanart, and it is appreciated. Sheesh.
And acctually, Harlequinne is a clown. A female fool. Go find your dear Punchinello, my little clown, and leave us be.
------------------

you'd like to see my drawing skills? all rite. i must warn you its not as good as it could be, since i did it in the most pants program ever made, MSPaint.

I wouldn't say four star writing skills. Remember your overuseage of big words? Even in your writing, your trying to show off, by proving to everyone that "look at me! me special! me know big words!" Then, when writting on the forum, you just happen to forget all of those words (gee, that MSWord Thesaurus sure came in handy, didn't it?) and instead use some of the most idotic phrases I've ever heard. Here's a tip - the word 'pants' has not, and will never be an adjective. "Oh yeah, we went and saw that movie last week, it was so brassire that it hankerchiefed!" And you never seem to answer to my responces, unless it's something about how calm I am, or about finding that paper of yours.
The more you write, the more you give away that you're simply a little girl with an ego problem, the only way you can feel good about yourself it to make others upset. Since Harlequine is a male character, the next best thing is Columbine, his lover.

No, I don't think you suck that much at drawing AC! But I do admit that you need a little more experience...
As for you harleq, your messages are making no sense. First, you say the comic sucks, then you're saying bad things about AC without any reason, then you say bad thing to others for(once again) no reason. then you talk about video games... I must admit it's pretty pathetic!
And ever since I wrote messages you seem to completely ignore me. Maybe that prooves that I have way better points that you have.
I have something to tell you, making a comic is something very hard to do. It takes a lot of your time and preparation to make one. I know what it is 'cuz I make comics myself and I must tell you that I have a lot of respect to people who makes them 'cuz I know how hard it is to them. But you still came here to tell that it sucks. Try to make a comic before even trying to think about saying to others they suck.
Oh, and one last thing, I you say AC's drawing is so bad, why don't you show us a proof that you're better?

Crono Cross sucks! Crono Trigger is much better!

if you think i used a thesaurus to write, then thats a true compliment. i thank you. but how very amusing that you think you and your pathetic thermalyte can write better than me. BAH HA HA HA HAAAA! i'm about to be published at the end of this year, and you think your BETEER than me? mmm hmm, how VERY clever you are! bah. why do i waste my time?
oh dear...whatever will i do if you ban me? if it makes your pathetic lives better, then do it. i could care less. i have better ppaces to be going. i truly wonder why i even bother with this sad, pathetic place.
if this comic ever does make it big (which it wont...but i suppose you can dream if your desperate enuff), youll see a lot more clever ones like myself, who arent afraid to diss sumthing that sucks.
ps: idiot. everyone knows harles a girl. unless your sum kind of antisocial freak who cant afford a playstation.

Um... none of those links are working...
I won't say you're PHISICALLY ugly since I almost never judge someone by his/her apparence. But everything you said since you came here was just digusting. And even if AC warned you that she would get you out for good, you're still coming back for more.
Just quit it! You're making everybody sick!

I'm quite certain that you knew that anyone named Harle and dressed as a clown would be based on the Italian Theater staple of Harlequin- the comidic relief. And if you think you can write well, I told you, you repeat repeat repeat the same big words over and over. It doesn't flow well. If you want to see some of my writing, then try this, since you seem to be able to judge that my writing skills are worse than yours, even though you've never actually seen or read anything by me - Mira of Oz: Chapter One (title pending changes)
Yes, I'm an Oz fan. Darn proud of it, too. Some things might not make too much sence, as it is based on the prior books, but the first chapter is fairly self-contained. It's the backstory of the plot. It's just the first chapter, the shortest so far, and the rough draft, too. Please, tell me what you think, anyone. I want feedback. Though for some odd reason, I have a feeling I'll be less likely to listen to what certain people have to say.

[This message has been edited by Gillikin (edited 09-27-2001).]
is that so? what words did i repeat? i'd like an example, plz. oh yes, that's rite. there isn't one, beacuse i don't.
pfft. u should be so lucky to get feedback from clever liddoe me.
and i suppose you think that writing is better than mine? well, how truly sorry, but i dont think so. first-person is hard to do, not to mention tedious to read, and although you do it well, it's hard to be succesful with something like that. why don't u post it up at ipublish, and well see if you get 4-stars, huh? then we'll see who's da (wo)man.
why not write in slang? everyone does. it's faster than writing formally.

You can't link to file on Geocities (geocities has it setup so no one can). Secondly change the name of a file to jpg does not make it a jpg. those file are still bmp. which is not a webfriendly format. So you might want to correctly formart those image before you post them again.
Also I think that you might if your such a great writer, want to stop using slang. It devaulates your agrueement and frankly cause me to dismiss everthing you say as insane babbling.

I suppose what I should have said were that they were too similar, not the same, such as -
ovular indentation
ovoid section
with the root word ova, when describing the silver shackels.
ellipse-shaped
elliptical torso
with the root ellipse when talking about the scyphozoan.
They were so similar, and while they do mean the same thing, they were a bit of a turn off because none of these words are 'common' words. You've got to remember that sometimes simple really is the best option, not everyone who's going to read this is going to know what all of these mean. My sisters would stare at this for about a minute and then give up, because they (like most people) don't have an incredibly large vocabulary. Like I said earlier, it was a good story, it just needed tweaking. Heck, mine needs to be checked for spelling errors, I know there's lots of them in there, but my computer was being obsitnate and wasn't letting spell check anything, and I wasn't going through there at midnight to ferret out the problems. Oh, and the rest of my story switches from first person to third in the following chapters. It is easier to read, it's just that for past occurances, I felt that the first person would be better than the third. Why don't I put it on ipublish? Because I'm going to get it published by a small Oz book publishing company, not to make money, but to share my story with other Oz fans.
