Where is my *comic*??

Post by Metrobius »

Is anyone else but me having trouble seeing today's comic? I just get a page-sized white space. The previous pages seem to be happy enough.

I may have to go back to my mirror site.

I bet it's the popup ad blocker, blighted thing...

It was only our stupid Rooter needing to be reset, so it's fine here now too.

Well, I could see it both from work (IE with no ad blocker) and at home (Netscape with Norton Ad blocker).

Good story so farl

I've figured out how it happens now.

When I work on the html for the mirror site, it tries to load the buttons in the top bar from Keenspace, but either it can't or it's not allowed to. So it shows a white box instead.

Then when I go back to proper pages on the net, the white box glitch comes along. I'm not sure why it decided to hide my comic instead of one of the top buttons that time, but it did.

The problem can be instantly fixed by unplugging the router and plugging it back in again.

:?
That reminds me of earlier. I was looking at a laptop a friend is selling, It is for my partner. The cr*p this guy had installed on it, I felt really itchy to delete about half of it and dig out X-setup. grrlllp! (got an IBM off ebay instead BTW)
No idea why your beastputer is playing up. Get Firefox! :)

Is there some more of this story Timm? Please?
