I really wanted to do a story that sounded sufficiently Pratchetty. I even got the obligatory infuriating Obvious Cultural Reference Quote in there with "there's no aphrodisiac like loneliness". I was rather proud of that. *And* the Whitlams are an Aussie band, too, which makes it twice as good...<P>I was so glad I got to put Leonard in it, because he's one of my absolutely all-time favourite Discworld characters, because he's just so *funny*.<P>Seriously though, can't you just see Vetinari doing magic, which he's never done before, just because it needs doing?<P>Oh, and another thing I like. There's probably plenty of that around. Xena fan fiction, etc.<P>But I seem to prefer exploring the emotional complexities of male characters, perhaps because male/male relationships seem more "forbidden", perhaps just coz I like men. <P>------------------
