In the meantime though, I'll be trying to speed up my coloring and stick with a weekly sched then slowly creep up to a twice/week sched (hopefully). All in full color.

quote:

I really thought it was neat when you started to do them in full color! But it also looked cool with some of the other styles you'd been trying out. I particularly liked the penned outlines with pencil coloring. It gives me a better idea of how your art works (and how I can improve my own).

Hmm... combine them... interesting. I actually did a combo of those styles early on when I added flat colors to some of my inked/pencil-shaded works. Looked like I added the shading using photoshop sometimes.
And, this gives you ideas on improving your art? Great! But how?

quote:

I think that if you keep the color going (as often as you are able.. don't push so hard that you get discourage) for a while so we readers can get a feel for the characters' coloring, then if you switch to b/w except on special occasions (or whatnot), we'll be okay with that.

Ah yes. This is definitely an option I have in mind. I'll probably need to do this sparingly though if I plan to keep everything (not counting the older b/w pages) colored.

------------------
