What can I say, I'm in a post-able mood tonight.
It's 3:30 (yes, I know, I live in a straaange time zone), and I should be asleep, but I just got done doing (useless)stuff, and decided to check back.
Kersus...it never fails. Ever thought about moving to Alaska? The place needs someone with a sense of humor. As of right now, I personally know of...let's see...four people here with well-developed senses of the ridiculous. Four people in the whole state (admittedly, I don't know the entire population. Four people in Fairbanks and the surrounding vicinity).
And just think: in the winter, you could hibernate. (That's what I wish I were allowed to do.) (Come on, move the whole message board population north, huh? No takers?) *yawn* It's now 4 a.m. Off to get what little rest I can.

Wah.. rambling on needed... I actually DID go somewhere with friends today, which I probably need to do much more often. ^^; Of course when I go I know I'm going to spend money, and that's not good considering my job still hasn't started. I talked to the CEO again on the phone today. It should eventually get started. I'm sick of waiting, I want that paycheck. Okay, actually I NEED that paycheck. Or whatever. I think the other people who will work there are going to get on my nerves though. I mean, I like videogame geeks (i am one, technically) but these are reeeeally scary ones. Especially the CEO. He keeps you on the phone for hours rambling on about his ex-girlfriends. How professional...<P>Heh, I don't like living in Pittsburgh either. It's cold here, and it's not pretty enough for me. I grew up in (don't make fun of me, it's a really nice place) West Virginia, which is a beautiful forests and mountains state. I love the outdoors. I agree. I'm not a great fan of cities myself. I like in a 2 min town, lol. 2 mins and you've seen it all. But it's peaceful here.<P>I can't relate. I love the people I work with. It wasn't always that way, but the she-devil quit. *grins* I just don't work well with certain types. She was that "I'm going to talk on the phone, leave you with a room full of kids, just so I can come back and gripe about the person I was on the phone with, and then I'm gonna raise my voice at the kids because they won't be still, even though they are ONLY 2" type. *whew*<P>Oops, that's more than two cents. *sheepish grin* Later!<P>Jennet

not a bad idea, except then I have to apply for citizenship and all that. Plus an agreement I signed before going to university said that I had to work in Canada for at least a year after I get my BSc (Guess they figured out that almost every Canadian that grauduates goes to where they actually earn a decent wage for their jobs).
How about I just move to the Yukon next door, walk over to Alaska, tell a few jokes and then go home. Lather, rinse, repeat every few weeks?

Emerald...all I can say is that you have much more patience than I have ever had. Small children make my hair stand on end! Even my niece, who is really a sweetheart but is only 4 (aaccck! 4 years old = kiss of death for Lauren!) makes me crazy! (mostly because she is such a smartass, but still.) They've got to be about 7 before I can even stand them, unless they are really exceptional. I think that I'd have to be institutionalized if I ever worked in a daycare. Meant to say that days ago when small children were still a topic, but never got around to it. Sorry to dredge it up again for no apparent reason. -_~
Ha! I've got all the non-city-lovers beat: I live 25 miles from a teeeeensy city. (Rural Alaska. Rabbits and foxes and moose, oh my!)
And how do you measure how much "two cents worth" of commentary is, anyway? Is it how much time you spend commentating? Or is it how much effort you spend thinking about what you have to say? Or what? If it's how much time, how much do you charge per minute? And if it's how much effort, well, I don't think I'll ever get to $0.02. Think while typing? You mean that my fingers aren't just having massive muscle spasms? Maybe it's how much the train of thought is worth to other people, in which case I would be owing quite a bit of money, I imagine. *yawn* Will pay debts in morning.

Sorry, random thoughts from a very tired person.<P>Kids take alot of patience. *checks her level* I'm good until about 2:00 tomorrow evening... hehehe, it was another one of those looonnnggg days. But when I left work it was still daylight outside! (Sorry, this is a big thing for me...) I hate killing the whole day working. I love how it's so refreshing, nice, and beautiful out there... and I like the quiet life there too.<P>But I also love the busy people people big buildings - always having something to do life in Chicago. And I've been living here all my life, so I guess I'm naturally more leaning towards the city... but I'd give county life a shot.<P>When I was younger, I always wanted to live out in the woods... next to a lil pond or something... It shall be more active when I am awake to reply to it! ^^;;; I'm saying that because I was asleep for about 80% of today, and I got hardly any work done. I just got an "assignment" from my future boss, and I've been working like mad on it. So I tired myself out and wasted the entire day sleeping. Probably part of the reason I didn't post the page sooner. Sorry about that everyone! I'm a few pages ahead of myself though, so it's just a matter of scanning them in. The computer makes me sleepy... ^^;;<P>Blah, I don't want any more snow. I hate it when the roads are bad. It's totally not worth any effort, although if I was still in school I bet I'd be begging for snow. <P>I don't really consider West Virginia "the country"... More like "the great outdoors". "country" makes me feel like you know, dirt roads and cornfields and cows and stuff. there's no fields where I'm from, it's more a quaint, clean river city surrounded by beautiful mountains and trees and rocks and streams and stuff. ^^;; There are malls and theaters and clubs and stuff there too, (basically the same stuff to do there as here) but it's just as a whole much prettier and cleaner. I simply love trees and the outdoors and stuff. But I'm not very fond of farmland. ^^;<P>hehe well yes, there are alot of trees and castles in FMS... ^_^<P>blah.. I'm still tired. I've slept all day but I desire to go to bed. Well, a new page should show up soon. There'll be new pages for the weekend too, as long as Keen keeps working well.
