hello everybody, im tunian
not really new to the scene, i just don't have a habit of conversing...mostly b/c i keep up on my web manga on the run or at work.<P>actually, i started reading this particular comic over the summer. i happened upon it whilst looking for new comics to get 'addicted' to. then i forgot the address and couldn't find it again.<P>but lo and behold i have returned.
alice, i must say that you have a very engaging storyline so far; so much so that i've spent the last few days in your archives instead of working or studying (which i should probably get to pretty soon).<P>also, i appreciate the fact that you took the time to craft your world from basically scratch, and the fact that you documented it. little things like that make it so easy to get consumed into this little universe that you have created.<P>then there's the fact that your art is very good. i remember a time when i had ambitions of doing a webmanga. i've had all sorts of ideas for storylines, but never the patience to learn the style. it just wasn't working out, and i lost interest.<P>*curses his own lack of dedication*<P>since i lack the skills in drawing (which you wouldn't figure, since i'm left handed and all...) i've decided to write you a fms poem. (now i just have to get motivated, but that shouldn't be a problem, as midterms are finally drawing to a close)<P>i hate realizing that i am too wordy *frowns*<P>anyway, hello and don't mind me if i pop in every once in awhile to chat~!<P>have nice days~!<P>------------------

She's just that special, I suppose. *snif* thanks for all the kindness! Reading your feedback makes me feel happy, and then again I feel terrible because I feel like I'm failing all of you by being so unmotivated... Every time I pick up a new page to start drawing, I either get distracted by something else, or I just can't get into drawing it and I quit. Which is really terrible. We love Alice's art! Especially the way she draws hair! Pretty hair... *gets mesmerized by the swirling hair* ...hair... so shiny.... gaaaahhahaaaa.... ^_^

would you say that you'd have more use for a sonnet or a ballad
the key difference is that sonnets are only 14 lines, whereas ballads can be very, very long or just as short.
both are iambic pentameter, so will read similar, just differing lengths...
i guess what i'm asking is: would you rather have a definite form or something less formal?

Whee, I like poems! ::alice has just became a six year old, because she knows so little about poetry that she doesn't know how to answer your question:: But, yes, ballads are cool, because Wil really likes to sing. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif"> I really don't have any specifics as long as it sounds like something the character would sing.
