despite the fact that there are already at least two other posts for people that originally started out saying "hey I just started reading and yadda yadda I Love the comic". (or maybe one, too lazy to actually read the other posts. Some other time when I am not living on 2 hours of sleep for the past week with AP's coming up and am extremely hungry...maybe I can remedy that part soon...but I wander)
I just wanted to say, I just started reading the comic and I love it. LoL=o)
it is great to see something good with a plot. I mean I love the other comics, but yours is original, and long lasting. Most of the other serious comics are..short at best.
I love the artwork, that is kind of how I strive for my characters too look (well I try. I am still trying to find the perfect face style for my artwork. I cannot convey the appropriate emotions=o( and sketch consistency is a little...well inconsistent...BUT ARGH I STRAY AGAIN! I think that is what I set out to say.
Lemme check...hmm well as far as I remember it is.Now for some random questions(if you don't mind. for some reason I like to know odd stuff like this
1)what is your favorite anime? (just outta curiousity...anime is one of my..most extensive hobbies)
2)What type of music are you interested in?(this is just something I like to know...hmm...maybe I'm a little wierd. But I ttend to .. I dunno. I'm gonna shut up now.

Thanks for the feed back, it is good to have an artist whom is in touch with her loyal fans=o) right now I am a bit distracted so I don't have much else to say here..LoL
I need to check out Captain Tylor...been to lazy so far, heard its great though. I thought Escaflowne was a bit overblown, but that is just me(I have it all fansubbed). Fushigi Yuugi is also one I've been wanting to check out. But Kenshin...that is one of my favorite all time animes..up there with EVA, Ranma 1/2, Cowboy Bebop, and Berserk. Hmm I have the Recca fansubs around here somewhere, but I have only watched the first one so far. Been meaning to finish up the other...well I only have up to episode 30...
hmmm.
ever seen Eden's Bowy? I want to check it out, but no one has ever heard of it.
Hehe a woman after my own heart in musical tastes...well at least in the...varied likings. I myself listen to hard core rock (tool, peach), oldies (BEATLES! DoorS!), classical music (Beethoven), some..well kinda goth...(Theatre of Tragedy, Alien Sex Fiend) hmm thats all I can think of. But I know there are more out there. Paul Simon, Disturbed, Aerosmith, Pink Floyd..etc

probably the TV version did spoil it. I mean I saw episode one subbed before I watched it on Fox.
Argh is it true that they play slayers on saturday morning now?!?! if that is so...damn Fox!!! That doesn't belong on Fox. It is a GOOD anime!I can't wait to see Utena. I have the movie, but can't find the series. My friend has been bugging me to watch it. He sent me all the OST...all 400 mb of mp3s...how is Blade of the Immortal? I saw the scans somewhere and thought of checking out an issue. (yea I'm a cheap bastard. But I am really really broke, and right now I owe my parents $65 for cable modem and lessons...and I owe too much money to other people. I guess that is me rationaizing. Dylan is like....the man. I don't even know what to say beyond that. He is the man.For me a good song has to either have a deep meaning, or be able to envoke some emotion...be it comedic or whatnot. Well I do like a lot of anime OSTs..no idea why but I do.

I readed Gunnm 1-25 + the 2 extra story as manga(gunnm=battle angel alita)
If you don't like depressing story then you right, Alice never read that.

Really? Fox left out episode one? LoL I'm glad I didn't watch it from the beginning.
I Dunno. the best part about Slayers is the sex jokes. heeh poor Lina. I don't think shes that...well...you know. But of course, if Naga is the standard...
LoL. They won't be able to show the movies or the OAVs...you ever read the berserk manga?

and the art in blade of the immortal is prolly "in my eyes" the best art in a manga.

Yes. Blade of the Immortal is a very nice manga series. Personally though, my new favorite is Battle Angel Alita. The art is great and the story and concept is great too. As a matter of fact, I'm close to tears on the end book of BAA. I recommend you guys read it. ^_^------------------

SPOILERS AHEAD!check out the Kenshin OAV for this.
(At least this is what I'm thinking you are talking about)
Tomoe was Kenshin's ex-wife. She is directly responsible for the 2nd part of his cross scar. Her brother was Enishi.Now if that is what you were refering too...well...
I haven't read it all.
I know Kaoru gets kidnapped by Enishi. Thats about it. I am like, just after the flashback showing kenshin as the battousai.
The stupid translation calls it "fencing" lessons. Blah.
at least call it..anything but fencing.
Fencing is with a foil...
not katana's...or...argh whatever those wooden swords are called.ahh well I gotta go..hasta la vista

I forget exactly but she dies and becomes kenshin's "sheld" so to say, it's really depressing. And ya, she gives him the second scar. If you haven't seen the oavs but like kenshin. Defenitly watch them. And how are you downloading the manga, could i have a link or something? Oh yeah, tonight being wendsday they show captain tylor oon the internation channel if you get it. It's on at 1:30 late night. It's worth watching, it will be the second or third episode and is subtitled and all that. tv series, not oavs or nothin. Hope you get a chance to watch, if not, find it and watch..

she is the one who made him human. She sheathed the hittokiri, allowing him to eventually become the rorouni of...well the regular series.Kaoru lives...
Enishi never kills her.
although it coulda made a cool plot twist.I can send you the manga...

I hope you get the international channel. About sending me the mangas, i would get icq if we could work something out. That would be cool. Do you get them of an ftp or something?

well I'm gonna have to get on I-drive and get more of the Revenge arc tonight.
I got most of my manga from 3 different sources..
but I have an FTP set up right now so I can let you leech 'em.

I'll try my damndest to get the rest of the revenge arc and see what is up with that. I haven't heard anything about it. Ok cool, i used to use icq before. I haven't got it again since my new computer. I've wanted to check out those ftp programs but i can't find a good one and if thats not the problem, i couldn't find my way around to people's sites. Oh well. I'm geidi on the oekaki too. or tom zehnder on alice fan art gallery.
