Well, I've been around a number of the various Keen* forums, and I've seen newbies hop on the boards proclaiming the comic's greatness and the artist's impending godhood (don't look surprised--I've seen it happen a lot more than you might realize...). I do things I bit differently; I tend to re-interpret the logos of comics/projects I enjoy and produce them as a kind of fanart--which neatly works around the fact that I can't draw. That said, I present this. Enjoy!

http://www.angelfire.com/weird/atcproje ... alt.png if the above doesn't show...
Nak
------------------

ooh! that's so pretty!! It even looks like my comic, with the colors and the fonts. Thank you so much, I love to get something new, and that's just a really cool idea. I'm not so good at drawing logos myself, fonts don't particualarly like me. ^^;;; It's good to see someone who is skilled it it.
Alice ^^

Oooh. Spiffy! It looks really good, and fits with the tone of the saga. What I want to know is what does the fancy pale grey lettering say in the background. It intrueges me. Good work! And about the not being able to draw part - neither can I, but I still send in the fanarts. I'm not as good at logos as you are.

Spiffy! Fonts are my friend. I have a friend who probably qualifies as a Fontmistress, or Pope of Fonts, which is fun. I'm probably along the lines of Reverend of Font.
No, this is not an attempt to see how many times I can say the word "font" in a paragraph. That's just what it turned into.
(I am not procrastinating either. oh no. not me...)
Anyways, the banner is cool. ^ - ^
Lina Inverse

This whole logo thing: it's just an odd little niche that I've found I can do fairly well. ^^;;; stupid Alice and her bad eyesight didn't see the cool text in the background--it's really pretty though! So much cooler than all the logos I've come up with. ^_^
Hehe, I have loads and loads of fonts on my computer (i got a bunch to use on resumes and my demo cover). That's why I use so many different ones in FMS, I love them! I'm trying to have a signature font for each of the main characters to use whenever they're thinking, but so far I've only got one for Kuthra and Wilyri. ^_^
Alice^^

Hahaha! I can't stop using my favorite font, actually its two, for my comic - One's called Brady Bunch and the other is International Playboy. I need to get more fonts X_x Alice, if you had your comic in color, ( I wish ;;_;; ) you could just color coordinate the text by who's talking. Thats what I do, and I think Kern does that too..

You see, the thing is, if you want this comic in color, odds are you'd be getting about a page a week. MAYBE. I honestly don't like it in color near as much. I love pencilwork, and when I color it, it destroys my shading, and also starts looking more computer-ish, when I'd rather it look more traditional. I like color for covers/artwork for fms, just not the actual comic. I guess if I did it, it would feel so much more like a chore.. ^^;;;;;

Exactly! That is how I'm currently feeling, I just finished coloring a page of my comic.. Which yes, is up, and is kinda shaky. (http://www.envy.nu/udestiny ) I want it to be colored, because color is an important thing in the story - that identifies people. And yeah, coloring does mess up shading, but I still shade in my pictures, then color it in using layers, so I don't really touch anything anymore.
And Alice, your comic looks fine! Whenever I try to make out a guest page or fanart for you, I have a hard time guessing what he/she is wearing in what color and so forth.. But - I still love this comic ^^
