don't worry about that, Alice, we can be pacient... (I don't think that's the way for pacient to be spelled... sigh).

------------------

Well, Alice, I have the same problem too. What I do in these situations is modify the HTML files in the Public_html folder directly. But be careful when you do so.
------------------

getting mad isn't going to change the fact that it's not working so you may as well not get pissy about it cause it's not gonna help.

Alice, I made a few comments a week or two ago, and then dissapeared. Well I have something to say now! Those are the most beautiful 'crappy' pages that I have ever seen in my life. I couldn't draw like that if my life depended upon it. If the past few days have been 'off' days, I can't imagine what it looks like when you're feeling well. I wait through Keenspace's long line for your comic, and it is gorgeous every time I see it. You've seen the way I draw, and that's why you do a comic, and I make an occational piece of fanart. I read through your archives, and all of your pages seem to be done with great skill and ability. Stop being so hard on yourself. ~ Chris

Spoken quite well, Chris. I feel the same way. Now I have the urge to draw another piece of fanart, or maybe take myself to another level and try the thing called 'a guest page' Hopefully this time I won't mess up how Wil looks, I can never get that prissy-high class look XD

they be right my lady your art is really very good and to say it be bad makes the rest of us look really bad cause we can't even get the quality of your bad days.
so stop beating your self up if it's not up to your standard let others look and if they agree that it's bad then maybe it is.

Bwah! There is always someone better than yourself, but that shouldn't bring you down. Your 'crappy' pages look excellent. And your not the only perfectionist around here, I'm like that but everything turns out to look horrible in the end so I re-do everything.

Motivation, huh?
::begins waving his Alice banner & dancing 'round the room::
Go, Alice! Go, Alice! You rule! Your comic rocks! I love Fate Martyr Sapheire! And it's not Saphire! Go, Alice, go! The Pen is mightier the the Sword, and in your case it's better looking, too! Go, Alice, go!
:: pants :: Let's try some quotes! ~
One must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star.
-- Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
Great flame follows a tiny spark.
-- Dante Alighieri, Divine Comedy, Paradiso, Canto I, Line 34
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.
Fillet of fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg and howlet's wing,
-- William Shakespeare, from Macbeth

???- Wait, that last one has nothing to do with what I'm trying to say, but the bard was rather insistive that I stick something of his in there. I hope you feel motivated now! ~ Chris
[This message has been edited by Gillikin (edited 08-06-2001).]

You mean like -
'May your pencil tips never break & your pens
never run out of ink.'
Or 'Just keep doing your best, Alice, it always looks great!'
But the cheesy cliche which describes why I did what I did is - 'Never do anything by halves.' Anyway, it was more fun to do it that way. - Chris

Was going to art school really worth it? Other people said it was a waste of time especially if you already know how to draw. But I personally wished I studied art in college instead. Sigh.

------------------

Ah. Vacations and term breaks. That's what I miss about school the most. I don't miss studying though.
------------------
