The church secretary interview never materialized. My "agent" (technically, my account executive -- she's a headhunter) told me that either (a) they already hired someone, (b) the lady who's responsible for arranging meetings has been out of the office, or (c) they lost the messages she left because they're desperately in need of -- ironically -- a church secretary.
The legal secretary interview just occurred on Tuesday. It went very, very well. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that by the end of next week I'll be reporting a job offer.
Of course, now I've just jinxed it and I'm going to wallow in poverty for the rest of my life.
--Strange/Dave
