What the ?!

Go to 3 days a week!
You will feel a lot less stress, and won't be tempted to quit. I have been toying with the idea myself on a temporary basis, as I am pretty much in the same boat as you time wise, and not having time to work on my novel, either. The comics are funny, though, don't worry about losing it. I enjoy the honest contemplation within the comic itself.
PS--I will send you some fan art, too...A rarity, since I don't do fan art, unless you count the rare cameos, or the Boxjam Doodles I do on his board. Though, I have been toying with a Chopping Block fan art piece that I am hoping will be an artistic masterpiece, but will probably fall somewhat short.
~dave
------------------

Lots of folks have been giving me the advice to pull back the number of comics I do. Many suggested 3 days a week; a couple even suggested just 1 day a week.
Truth is, I've set myself some goals, and maintaining this as a daily comic really is one of them. It's like an golfer who really wants to shoot a 72 and manages an 81. He's still playing a heck of a game, but it's not what he wants to be playing.
I really want to do 7 a week. The stress has become minimal, and I'm having fun with it again. In fact, yesterday, I cranked out more strips than I usually crank out in a week...
--Strange/Dave
------------------

Neurotic: sane, but unhappy about it.
