Wow man, the new strip was hilarious! You know, we live in some pretty sad times where a guy can't watch any TV without being hypnotised by fast-food companies.------------------

You know what's funny? (to me anyway) I've never ever seen that commercial! Yep, yep. It's not so evil if you hardly ever watch television. What's better is, you've convinced me not to start again. Thank-you thank-you thank-you! I don't mind strange ditties going through my head (I know more Veggie-Tale Silly Songs than I will elaborate on), I just don't want to advertise mediocre food to myself if I do have one going through my head. <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"> Now if it were La Conga (withing walking distance of work and where I ate lunch not 2 hours ago), OK maybe. However, it's a small restaurant, and not likely to spend the bucks to insinuate their product into my brain. Best of both worlds.Uh ... I'm rambling aren't I?*shrugs and goes back to work*

That commerical is evil....EVIL I tell you. Why just the other day, I was singing that song, when someone walked up and punched me in the face. I wouldn't of minded so much, if my Gramma didn't have such a killer left hook.~dave ------------------

Additionally, it features unattractive people moving in a herd and mugging for the camera... so it's just a bad ad. But then again, since Kinka Usher's original Dinky the Chihuahua ad was turned into a franchise of talking chihuahua commercials, Taco Bell's TV spots have gone downhill. Anyone else remember the ORIGINAL talking chihuahua ad? It was hilarious! And then they overplayed it and spun off sequels ad nauseam. The director must have felt awful about it... until he got a contract to do the Mystery Men movie (which I, personally, loved despite its negative reviews).--Strange/Dave, who rambles before he gets his coffee... and rambles even more after.------------------
