I just read a report that Douglas Adams, author of the "Hitchhiker's Guide" and "Dirk Gently" series, and several episodes of Dr. Who, died of a heart attack this past Friday night.<P>He was one of my greatest inspirations in life and in my creative work, and he will be greatly missed.<P>To paraphrase said genius, I hope and pray there is an afterlife for him ... then remember he was an atheist, and simply hope there is an afterlife for him.<P>Best fishes, Doug.
