Blasphemer! I challenge anyone to prove to me that any 8-bit Nintendo sountrack is better than Megaman 2 or 3. Can any one think of any song that rivals the youthful exuberance of Crash Man's stage, or the pulsing jungle rhythms of Wood Man's stage, the intricate background of Flash Man's music, and the sheer excellence of the first Dr. Wily stage or the main theme to Megaman 3, two of the greatest songs composed in their era (and yes, I am including the works of real life acts of the day like Poison and Warrant). The only games that surpass these two masterpieces are latter day RPGs like Chrono Trigger and the last 4 Final Fantasies. Megaman 2 & 3 are the penultimate examples of video game composing for the late '80s.<P>------------------
