Reading your overview of the year made me think about a lot of things. Mostly my comic.. But also yours.
SoC is no longer that confusing anymore, and I am truly enjoying the 3rd chapter. It seems very real, and it interests me. Especially the fact that En'Chin and Keriel are... EGG-WORSHIPERS!!? Heh. I find that very amusing. But now it justifies why she couldn't eat the cake before.
Also.. "Mars Ain't the kind of Place to Raise Your Kids" was pretty good too.. And I got at least 80% of that.. unlike your first chapter. So, I'd like to say that you have improved in making your comic easier to understand.. Even the layouts have improved.
But there have still been a few layouts that were hard to follow. .... WEIRD WEIRD LAYOUTS. But those odd layouts that confuse me are now few and far between.. and I guess that is a good thing.
I also noticed that you mentioned me, and what I said about The Matrix. For some reason.. I don't believe that that is what I actually said.. like you paraphrased me or something.. But you didn't.. I said that.
It is very strange to me how I wrote that sentance..
Anyways.. that was why I had to tell you that your comic no longer has me confused beyond belief.. And now.. I have even been able to "predict" what comes next, like I manage to do with all movies and television shows. I thought that that would be En'Chin's office that Osi (er.. Seji!? Shoot.. I had them straight in my head.. but suddenly they're mixed up again!) would be walking in there.
What I didn't realise until the next strip though.. was that she was doing it knowingly, on purpose. I thought she was going in there for some kind of job interview or meeting.. and he would just happen to be there... I didn't know that she was already going to drop off the juice! So I found that pretty interesting.. and actually a little funny.
And I bet you're falling off your chair with laughter reading this too.. And that's fine.
You are a great inspriration to me Bryan, and you always will be. First with Pelolos.. and now with SoC.. And all the rants that come along with it!
In fact.. I have even quoted you in my own rant.. right on my Thermalyte page, just a few moments ago. You can go see if you like.
And I totally agree with you on the feedback thing. I thought I was doing Thermalyte for me- well I am- but I need feedback too. And the lack of feedback (not MEANING to put the blame on anyone.. it really and truly is my fault for this..) is, I think, partially the cause for Thermalyte's rather lengthy hiatuses. Especially this latter one.
I hope I can get myself and my life in order, so that I can continue Thermalyte, and still have a bunch of fun with Yankuckcanee.. not letting anyone down. All in preparation for my big mission... J-Force.
I hope I do do J-Force.. and not just drop it like a rock.
Well anyways.. I'm still loving your comics.
Keep up the tremendous work and effort. Whatever you do.. don't turn into me.

hee hee hee, but bry I remember when... no wait, I won't torment you with fond memories of our Phoenix Rising days!
LOL hey, I'm trying to get things back together since everyone seems to have something of a schedual again, you still in? I think I might start things from the begining, especially since we've had a couple charactor changes. Maybe keep a couple of the better scripts, but I feel Lacy got kinda short changed, as did Zaak and your charactors. So revamping stuff.
