Have any of you ever heard the Japanese creation story?
Cliff notes: Two godly beings got together, got it on, and then one of them gave birth to the Japanese islands.<P>For some reason, I keep picturing some woman spreading her legs and shooting massive amounts of dirt out... kind of like that demon porn video thing from PS2 where whatsherface opens her legs and gives birth to her insectoid demon lower half.<P>------------------

Hey, don't blame me if the Japanese have a funky creation story...<P>Though Zeus cracking his head open and pulling out Athene isn't much better... I have to admit at least the Japanese stories are silly instead of sexual and dirty like the Greek ones. I mean... Oedipus... what was THAT guy thinking? "Oh, I think I'll go off, kill dad, and have dirty monkey sex with mommy!"
Yes, I know thats not the way the story goes... Its still excellent, and sick, literature though.<P>------------------
