Immensely important question!!

I was going to ask this in the other thread, but it doesn't really fit the pattern, so...
When Meat Loaf sings "I will do anything for love, but I won't do that," what did you always assume that was?

Commit murder/other illegal act

Sell someone out

Unpleasant sex act (my guess)

Get whipped

Die

It's a metaphor for the limits placed on a relationship and doesn't refer to any one thing

other

Well, there's the technical answer, that he said was the right one himself on VH-1... but i think most listeners make up their own answers anyway. *L*
technical answer? it refers to whatever the thing was in teh line before - "but i'll never stop dreaming of you every night of my life, no way, I would do anythign for love, but i won't do that." So it changes every verse. According to Meat. ;)
Wow. so there ARE other meat loaf fans out there. *L*

I just like the song. I'm kind of young to be a full-time Meat Loaf fan.
(If Remi & everyone knew how old I really am, they'd wet their pants...)
Do you know that when telemarketers call his house, they ask for "Mr. Loaf?"

Still need to do a strip that's an odyssey of overweight rock stars... late, need sleep.
-Remi

Now I want an unlisted number that delivers heavy shocks to unwanted callers. I can only imagine the many pleasant evenings I'd spend waiting for telemarketers to call and then listening to them writhing in agony.
::sigh::
It would be beautiful.
