I was going to ask this in the other thread, but it doesn't really fit the pattern, so...When Meat Loaf sings "I will do anything for love, but I won't do that," what did you always assume that was?

Well, there's the technical answer, that he said was the right one himself on VH-1... but i think most listeners make up their own answers anyway. *L*technical answer? it refers to whatever the thing was in teh line before - "but i'll never stop dreaming of you every night of my life, no way, I would do anythign for love, but i won't do that." So it changes every verse. According to Meat.

I just like the song. I'm kind of young to be a full-time Meat Loaf fan. (If Remi & everyone knew how old I really am, they'd wet their pants...)Do you know that when telemarketers call his house, they ask for "Mr. Loaf?" <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/biggrin.gif">

Now I want an unlisted number that delivers heavy shocks to unwanted callers. I can only imagine the many pleasant evenings I'd spend waiting for telemarketers to call and then listening to them writhing in agony.::sigh::It would be beautiful.
