I'm not just the president of the Ft.Collins Too Fat to be a Rock Star fan club, I'm also a member. This is the best comic in the world!

Button, button, who's got the button?
I'd get a button. That sure is a silly word, did I spell it right? Button. Anyway, if I wore a button then everyone would know I was the fan club President and then maybe I'd get some respect.

Moss here, president and founding (only) member of the Healdsburg, CA, chapter of the fan club.<P>Don't know how you could make buttons, but <A HREF="http://www.cafepress.com/" TARGET=_blank>http://www.cafepress.com/</A> lets you make t-shirts, mousepads, and mugs... they're what Neil uses to make his shirts. If you haven't seen Neil's shirts, and are the sort of person that appreciates t-shirts with obscure philosophical jokes (and really, who doesn't), do so, at: <A HREF="http://www.sjca.edu/~neil/collections.html" TARGET=_blank>http://www.sjca.edu/~neil/collections.html</A> <P>

I should make posters or something so all my loyal fans can spread the word <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"><P>Or buttons! Buttons would rule! Little buttons that say 'Too Fat to be a Rockstar' and when someone comes up to you, and says, "But you're not fat," you can say, "It's a comic! On the web! You should read it!" <P>Then you whip out your palmpilot websurfer thingee and logon and show them the wonders of 2Fat. All of this will, of course, be provided by 2Fat Industries, Inc...or not.<P>Seriously, I am looking into getting some little business card thingees made, so if anyone's interested in a little evangelism (say, leaving a little pile in a coffeeshop or something) send me a note.

Mike and I could leave piles of them in coffeeshops in various cities as we wander aimlessly around the country searching for a place to call home (sniff).

I'm afraid that I'm not going to be doing shirts any time soon. There's no real demand (except from some friends, and I don't know how I'd deal with seeing a friend wearing one of my shirts). However, I can just design up some cards at Kinko's or whatnot and send them out that way. They'd be free to whomever asked for them, as long as they promised to hand them out or put them somewhere public. I'm sure I could find a button-maker somewhere.

Of course you could do what Mike suggested when I told him about the button possibility: buy 30 seconds of commercial time during the Superbowl, and have a white screen with the URL in black letters. It would be enigmatic. And really really expensive.

I figure, as long as it's enigmatic, it might as well be annoying as fuck.<P>Heh, I said fuck.

... buttons, tshirts, cards -- how about making a printable PDF graphic available. Everyone could download it and print it on whatever we wanted, scale it to fit on large billboards, duplicate it endlessly and distribute it throughout the cities we live in, attach it to emails, Shockwave it to strange music -- 2fat forever!
