Putting "english" on it means you put an angle on it.<P>I do it by going with the momentum. If your paddle is moving when you hit the ball, then it's going to put english on it. If the paddle is moving in the same direction that the ball is moving, you're going to make it go faster, and you're to put serious english on it. If you go the opposite way, then it straightens it out a little bit.<P>You can also pinpoint (to a degree) where the ball you hit is going by doing this. If you push the paddle in one direction while you hit it, then it should at least attempt to go that way, depending on the momentum.<P>There ya go.<P>And giving and talking about Pong tips is better than reading about them and having nothing better to say than "Man, I can't believe you're talking about this."
