i watched maybe ten minutes of it and just thought "this would be better if they actually had a special effects budget," but i thought the acting on the small aprt i saw was pretty... well, lacking. i liked the comic book, though, up until issue... i dunno, 20 or so.but usagi liked it, hmmm. usagi also liked the powers "who killed retro girl" trade which i picked up at wizard world this year, and i really didn't care much for it...

Yancy Butler is one of the ugliest ladies I've ever seen. I saw the pilot for the show and crapped on a log. Oh yes. A log.

Okay, I finished watching it over the weekend (yes, I taped it). Some episodes just straight up sucked. Others were great. Yes, GREAT. Mostly toward the end of the first season. Everything actually built up to something and it was somewhat intriguing. Other minor storylines didn't really do it for me, so those episodes pretty much sucked. But, the last two or three were the bees knees. And I actually liked the resolution. I can imagine that some people might not. But, it DOES make me wanna watch at least the season premier.------------------

Oh, c'mon. Powers is good shit. Bendis can suck my cock otherwise, but Powers is some good reading.I can't really comment on the Witchblade series, other than the fact that the actors they got look like actual, living characters from Top Cow books. I mean, it looks like Michael Turner drew those people. It's fucking ugly as hell! And the fight scenes of that show would put small dogs into seizures. It's all-around crapappy.MOFO HAS SPOKEN!------------------

i'm not crazy about the way bendis writes. and a bunch of times reading pages in the powers trade, i was confused as to whether the panels read across the page or across the two page spred. blame it on my lack of intelligence (>=P) or the bumpy plain ride where i was reading it, but whatever.and i didn't like the art, because i actually like the top cow-esque jim lee rip off artists.------------------
