Bah. That's my take on it. Actually...I'm kinda pissed off about the whole thing. Way back at the beginning of the summer, if you remember, when we were discussing this season's crop of movies I was vehementely anit-POTA. But as the months wore on and I was bombarded by advertising, merchandising, and the Con. I actually began to look forward to it, I WANTED to go see it......Then I did go see it. Only to find out that my first impression was right after all. I thought it was pretty lackluster. Of course, maybe I missed all the good parts when I fell asleep for 20 minutes in the middle, but what I did see was not that impressive. And yeah, the ending was shit. Though.....I have to say they produced some cool free luggage tags for the movie that they were giving away at the con. Damn, that's awful when the best thing I can say about a movie is that it had good schwag......

ok, I liked it. but have u seen the specs on the DVD coming out next month? 2 disks! All kinds of stuff on it, Tim Burton commentary, Danny Elfman commentary (I want to hear him talk about the music), a ton of making-of features, extended scenes, music video (!?), on and on. worth the bucks to me, ordered it yesterday.
