Sorry I just cant let that one go without a rant. Idiots like that make me sick.
Nothing to make light of like this. Mofo and Usagi keep up the good work. Todays strip a fine tribute to the victims and you yourselves are a fine testament about the good lives in this country. And talented lives at that. You guys have a good night
------------------

I don't delete posts. It's not what this board is about. But I had to remove one in this thread today, because it was just too tasteless, even for Warp 9 standards. There are just some things I can't find humor in.
Please, let's be respectful about today's tragedies.
------------------

I thought they said they don't know who did it!?
Also! This little article was from a small ezine I found out about a while ago. Surprisingly though, I think what it has to say is very true. And here it is!

In light of today's attacks I want to point out something important that will likely be ignored by the country anyway. It is a real shame that when things like this happen we automatically assume it is people from the Middle East, and even then that it is all of them. People who blow shit up like this are either nuts or fervent supporters of their cause. This isn't a proper look at the race, nationality or area as a whole. It is really fucking stupid to see people this morning calling them "towelheads, "rag heads" and so on. I'm so damn sick of all of you racist morons. Some woman on CNN talked about how "vermin like this" should be "eradicated from the country" by any means necessary. I mean what the hell kind of insane holier than thou shit is that? Ten bucks says she is a Christian, too. Sometimes I wish all of you racist, ignorant bastards would take this as a step-by-step guide, acquire your own fucking airplane and crash it into the ocean. Worse still is the people who actually buy all the bullshit the government says about how this was an "attack on the people of the United States." Yeah, it was an attack on the people who run the country while oppressing, killing and impoverishing the people of others. Terrorists don't fucking bomb football stadiums to make a point, the civilians aren't their enemies (at least not until we mobilise them through hatred and stereotypes a la the Nazi Party's tactics), they bomb government establishments and places like the World Trade Center that are responsible for most of the third world countries staying that way. Hell, half of America looks like a third world country due to these people. I'm really sorry about all of the victims that died because of this violence against the American state, but let's keep in mind who is really responsible. If a dog chases a cat through the house who is responsible for the cat breaking a vase?

It fucking sickens me that someone would write something like that.....Ordinarily, I would tee off on it, but it's not worth it. I'll just leave it at saying that's fucking disgusting.
Q.

I suppose this topic should be discontinued to suppress such memories, but still I am curious to know: Why?

I think there's a fact missing here: Osama Bin Laden preaches an extreme form of hate, one that targets every man, woman, and child in America. America is the enemy to him and his followers, not because it oppresses his "people" (Osama comes from a very wealthy and powerful Saudi family; how is he oppressed, anyway?), but because he is dedicated to the eradication of America, its ideals, and all its citizens. He's made this a spiritual battle. The United States is the devil, literally, and he'll do whatever he can to wipe us all from the planet in any manner possible. That's what this is about. Imagine to what lengths the Catholic Church would go to if their devil was a mortal, tangible beast on the planet? They'd do whatever was in their power to purge it from the world. That's the frenzied zealotry that this psycho has achieved. He's not making a point; he's hurting us. Period.
------------------

I am so hungry right now. I'd eat the leftover pizza but it's Pizza Hut and that stuff sucks.
This post has no relevance other than to note how hungry I am and that Papa John's is the greatest pizza franchise EVER.

I think Mofo posted that message two seconds before my pizza post. Thus ruining it forever.
The article wasn't about Osama Bin Laden. It was about the way the U.S. government, and I guess everyone else, is handling this situation.
I don't see how bombing a country will really settle our differences. It'll only cause more hate. We really shouldn't be too quick to judge WHO did it, but rather try to understand WHY they did it.
Though, if it turns out to be Bin Laden then please hit me with an "I told you so".

Fine. It bothers me because it's making excuses where none exsist. There was and is NO reason for something like this. There's no valid excuse, and for someone to write something like that trying to excuse it is just unconscienable. And then to try and couch it in terms of a shitty metaphor like that is just insulting to everyone. Trying to turn it around and blame the Imperialist running dog capitalist for this is just a crock of shit. They are not the ones to blame, those crazy fuckers on the plane are the ones to blame, who ever planned it all THEY'RE to blame. But this "blame the victim" spiel is just utterly wrong on both logical and emotional levels. We do need "to keep in mind who is really responsible." And it sure as fuck ain't any of those poor people who did nothing wrong but go to work today.

Well i have been in lots of debates over this attack. There have been alot of different points that i have agreed and dis-agreed upon, some against the USA and some pro-USA.
Now America aint the most peaceful country, and sometimes they do flex their might a bit in places where it might not be needed. BUT without the help of the US those countries would be fucking wastelands. Then you get these people saying that it is only American propaganda, not the real truth. I seriously fucking doubt it.
Things that people sometimes forget are; religious fanatics will take their own lives to prove a point, no matter how ridiculous or how drastic. The last and least "accepted" point is that propaganda comes from BOTH ends of the stick. I bet that the leaders of this attack are blowing smoke up the arses of their followers, and riling them up into a frenzy of hate directed to the US.
I have alot more to say on this but i dont feel like typing it up. My condolences go out to all of you in the USA and to all the people affected by this. My hate goes out to the people that caused this shit, to you; fuck off!
Mean^fucking^Ween.
P.S: This thing has made such an impact all over the world, even Australia... damn

------------------
