Hey, I think I 'member somebody mentioning they're a Mac user...anyone know if there's a decent Napster alternative available for Mac out there?
Busily working on "Mac Like Me", a beaconlike novel of identification in a fog of oppression and filth,
Trace

I'm a MAC user (maybe the one you were thinking of), but I can't help you with a Napster alternative, sorry.
-jen
[This message has been edited by violentmae (edited 06-23-2001).]

I like winMX. It even lets you get in to Napsters' servers without leaving the comfort of a non-Napster program. <EG> I think its at www.winMX.com . Or you could go on to ZDnet like I did and find it.
I resent that... I have never ONCE played D&D. NEVER!
Though I did fall in to Magic The Gathering for a while... stupid Satan trying to steal my soul away with his evil... ness...
------------------

A good Napser alternative for the Mac is MP3 Rage, you can D/L it from Versiontracker.com.
It lets you connect to napsers server as well as loads of others.
Its a Gnuttella client as well.

kazaa sucks. i can't even find the most popular front 242 song on it. hello?
i've been using audiogalaxy (.com) since napster went under. it sucks that its webpaged based if you have a slow connection, but i like that it'll list every song that its users have, and you can select to downlaod a song from a user who is off line, and then once th login, it'll automatically download from them.
haven't tried morpheous yet. (sp? bah, as if i ever cared about speeling x_x)

------------------
