Does anyone else remember Noozles? It was a cartoon on Nick Jr in the 80's, created in Japan and set in Australia, about this girl, her dead father, a stuffed Koala that came to life and talked and his friend, this little pink fairy Koala with a magic compact that could open a doorway to another world called Koalala-land. I swear, I did not hit my head and make this up. Does anyone else remember watching this?
------------------

I spent the evening watching He-Man cartoons that my brother found in the back of his closet, and of course this was just begging to be a thread. So......
What past cartoons do you still partake in by way of old videotapes? What do you wish you still had?
Yeah ok.... I was bored.

The dad was assumed dead, I think. Missing in the outback for years or something... that's why the koala (Blinky?) was so special to her. David the Gnome was pretty good, too. I always wanted a giant, man-sized mouse as a pet after seeing that. A cartoon one, at any rate... a real one would just be freaky.
------------------

Like an absentee landlord and he gave her the Koala to shut her up and keep her happy. I remember that show though. It was on after David the Gnome. That was a good show too. Ahhh, those carefree days of youth...

Post Resurecction, or bump.
I've got five tapes of Ulysses 31. I love it when something is attacking in the distance, and the captain guy (total mind blank) pulls out his gun, aims it at the attack things, then presses the button on the side to make the sword slowly rise out the top so he can run up close and fight them!
------------------

Ahh, yeah, Thundercats and Transformers, and Joe, and Masters of the Universe, but how could you leave out Bravestar? It's a western with robots and speed of the puma and shit! Nevermind the fact that it only lasted a year, that show rocked out!

quote:
Ulysses 31, was that the one with the little red robot and the psychic girl called Uni. IT was like French, or somthing, and nased on the Odyssey, only with kick ass space ships and bad animation?

That's the one! The robot has a tiny little button on his head which needed to be pressed sometimes, a really useless robot he was.
------------------

Here in Chicago there was a great show in the early 80's called 'Gigglesnort Hotel'. Go there and see if it looks familiar to you. Man, I loved that show. I can't wait to get all the bootlegs of it I can!
------------------
