Life in Italy!!

First off, this isn't Kit. This is Ken.<P>I snookerd you to get you to look. Sneaky me! But, really, this post is more from her than me, anyway.<P>I'm just gonna cut and paste some stuff from mail Kit has sent me. You really want to hear from her more than me anyway, so this is as close as it gets for many many days. <P>*sigh* Too many days. I miss my Kit.<P>Here's the summary of some highlights. Not in order, and not totally inclusive, just bits and pieces from various emails:<P>"i just now have found a cybercafe. man, the keyboards a different over here, the stuff
with numbers that you have to hit the shift key to get like the asterisk, etc., are all rearanged. takes some getting used to."<P>"florence it nice. i love the apartment-not only does it have a washing machine (yay! no long walks to the laundromat for the kit) but two bathrooms with showers(which is a blessing for i share the place with 5 other girls (two in each room.)"<P>"I tagged along with the morning art history class. They went to two muesuems and in them I got to see 3 Donatellos (Mary Magdelen, St. George and David) and 2 Michelanglos
(Bacchus and La Pieta-the unfinished one.)"<P>"last the drawign class met on the other side of the ponte vecchio(very famous bridge.) curtis took us on a hike up very steep hills-i thought my knees would give out! near the top was our destination, a rose garden witha beautiful view of the city."<P>"i keep seeing street artists doing portraits. would you like one of yours truly? 8^)"<P>Note from Ken: How could I say no to that?<P>"the ring i'm making in jewelry is almost completed. i finished the bezel and attached it to the band. it will be so pretty when i'm done. 8^)"<P>Well, this a glimpse of how things are going for her. She's enjoying herself, and that's cool. I'm taking structured programming II as a summer class right now and working, so I guess as much as I miss her, this is good timing for me, since I'm in class, coding or working from 8 am till around 10 pm. Still miss her an awful lot.<P>You guys will be in for a rare treat soon! Oh yes indeed! June 15th and the 22nd, I'll be doing the lettering and maybe some of the coloring on the comic, since she's gonna be gone. Hopefully I won't screw it up!!<P>Later all!<P>-Ken<P>

ya freaked me out when i checked my message board and there was a post i didn't put up.<P>color on the strips? you mean real color?<P>everyone, be nice to ken. he's a great guy and is working on his own comic when not helping me with editing and doing the lettering in my abscence (i drew these before i left but was not able to letter them.)<P>also, he happens to be the lucky guy i'm dating, so now ya know. 8^)<P>and yes, i am having a blast in italy. i'm also leaving graffiti of blue canary characters in florence and rome.<P>i left 3 one-panel comics on a wall covered in graffiti that was the waiting line to the acadamdia, where michelanglo's "david" is. guess what i got to see today. 8^) don't worry, i'm not defacing anything major, and no, the david does not have a moustache now.<P>later!

not yet, but i just got back from seeing the ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum and the 15th i'm trying to go on a day trip to Venice and see the Vatican the next day. 8^)

I once took a quick 5 min tour of the Vatican, nice place make sure you get to rub the foot of Saint Peter, I think it was Peter.<P>Will you also get a change to see Michelanglo's "Moses
