I don't know if anybody cares, but yesterday's comic was brought to you by a Slashdot.com inspired brainstorm. Yes folks, one day about a month or so ago, I was reading Slashdot and found a link to an article on Russian designed gasoline powered boots. Apparantly they operate by a exerting pressure on plates on the bottom of the boots (via say, running or walking). That in turn causes a cylinder to fire driving a piston to force the plate out shooting you forward some 13 feet. As you land the pressure resets and refires the plate and cylinder allowing you to achieve super human velocity! Sooo, being the curious individual I am, I wondered what would happen if someone decided to walk down a flight of stairs with said boots on. Hehehe. Thus, yesterday's comic was born. <P>------------------
