*sigh*I have to do this for EVERY message board I post to. Don't know why this one would be any different. I think I've answered all of your questions:Hawkeye's full name was Benjamin Franklin Pierce. He got his nickname from his father, who named him after a character in "Last of the Mohicans" by James Fenimore Cooper. I recently guest starred on ER. When you asked me for the followup to M*A*S*H, you must not have known that there were two. Well, there were two. The first, and most familiar was 'Trapper John, M,D.' The second, which you are probably unfamiliar with is 'AfterM*A*S*H.' Col. Blake died in a plane crash on his way back to the US. M*A*S*H took place during the Korean War and it lasted for 11 years (ran from 1972 to 1983).Happy now? Now that we're past the 'Hey, let's prove that this is really Alan Alda stage', can we move on to some more stimulating topics, such as 'Why is Alan Alda afraid of monkeys?'By the way, as the subject states, I still haven't gotten the free beer you promised. I'm starting to think that the free beer policy is just a ploy to get people to read IHTBTS...

To Mikey C - No, Alan Alda is not a god, but Alan Alda has been asked that before.To Carson - Alan Alda prefers the Leafs, 'natch. As for why Alan Alda is afraid of monkeys, it's because they're like little tiny people. People claim they're just animals, but who knows what they're thinking! After all, we came from monkeys, did we not? Alan Alda bets that they are plotting to overthrow their evolutionary superiors any day. When that day comes, though, Alan Alda will be prepared! (Of course, you are correct, monkeys with guns are very frightening, too).

Hahaha, I thought I had you fooled! Dammit, MC, how'd you know? I wasn't so stupid as to put my boswic email in the registration for this account was I? Yeah, Carson, you might remember me, but maybe not. MC told me about your site a while back and since then I've been keeping up with the strip quite a bit. One day I came over to the forum and saw the Alan Alda bit and I couldn't resist ... Well Carson traced the IP back to the University in Chicago, and then your last post was sooo 3rd person it reminded me of something, but I couldn't place it. Yes! I used my l337 skills to hack through everything and find this stuff out.Well, so I just checked the logged IP and plugged it into Google, where it gave me a bunch of other sites that held your IP, which eventually lead me to the University of Illinois. At that point in time I was confused, as I knew no-one at Illinois that cared about MASH. Only when Mike mentioned that Boswic went there (and I connected the wrestling sites visited by said IP) did I have much of a clue... but by then I think Mike figured it out------------------

Well, crap ... Oh, well, good to know Hawkeye's being taken care of ...Most likely, the reason that I've never seen a full episode of MASH is because of the perverse time that it is on. For the past 10 years or so, it has had the 5 am - 6 am time slot where I live. Around these parts, we've got a saying that goes something like 'If you're watching MASH, you should be sleeping.' (I'm not joking, I actually know people that use that phrase, myself not included).
