When does the other shoe drop?

Everything has proceeded in the current story arc at a nice and pleasant pace so far. Very unlike Mr. Hopkins to do so in his comic. There's a big whack of improbability unaccounted for (two points if you know where I got this line from ;) ).

So the 'good' doctor has played his chip. No wonder he passed over more qualified candidates for Art. The wife card was played early. Now the stakes are even higher: Art knew and didn't report him. The doctor has this now to hold over his head; the longer it continues the deeper Art digs himself into the hole. All the while, the Doctor will know that if he finds a cure it will be detrimental to his hold on Artie. The only thing he will have left is the lies he could tell, but what lies they would be! The things he will say will never go away. EVIL!
