Entity arc

Postby Paul_Pinewood on Mon Apr 08, 2002 1:29 pm

I don't want to mess anybody else's arc, so I started a new one. Was there hiatus or not. Thats my way to write my character in. I'm going to send one new page every week, until they make me stop  Enjoy!

It's "Draw Well".. not 'draw good'

I bet Paul_Pinewood wishes that also!

You didn't give him a chance to finish, BC. He was going to say "bars". He wishes he could draw Goodbars. Though why someone wants to draw chocolate candies is beyond me.

Seriously, the only thing preventing you from being a good artist is lack of practice. Take Mr. Hopkins for example, if you look at the stuff he drew at age ten you'd notice two things. 1) its not close to the quality of what he's doing now. 2) he'd be really embarrased that anybody found those drawings. A friend told me that any art requires RRM. Romance, repetition, mastery. You have to desire creating art: romance. You have to study rotes, practice and persevere: repetition. Dedicated repetition and boundless romance lead to performing well: mastery.

Funny how what works for guitar players also work for electronic technicians and aircraft pilots.

Yeah, if you don't practice and constantly expand your technique and horizons, your 'style' degrades into a generalized lump of misguided talent and everything you draw ends up looking about the same. ;P

I should probably work to correct this problem, but... School. Ugh.

Quite possible, in the following arc because that one is already buffered.

Aw, come on EZ8, your drawings arent' as bad as you make them out to be. Your drawings of my aliens were pretty good. And to quote my father.

Swiftfoxhound: Quite possible. e-mail me description of your character, (maybe little image too) and what you expect of your role. I dont promice exact 1:1 version, though

Garoshy: Can't spoil it, but the basic theme opens very soon. Next page tells much more

And thanks for the comments. I hope you will have fun reading it. I had lots of fun drawing it. Just a fun-project, but I like it

If I were a zombie wolf thing with perpetual red eye that's exactly what I'd do. Except I'd use a bigger gun...

What... There's no gun? Well damn...

Ho hum, well it's nice, very very nice so far... *oogles*

P.S. I wish I could drew goodly

Wow. You just took my opinion of this comic and turned it around right good. The timing of frames is excellent... Actually, your style for some reason reminds me of Silent Hill. I dunno. The grotesque detail, pale people, red eyes... Everyone looks like they haven't slept in days.

Yaie! Now I have to cook up the motivation to make a fan arc.
