Heh, am i the only one who thinks that this conversation has kind of gone off topic?

Anyway to go back to the prior topic, i think that Comp games are probably the place where you see the most good graphics/art with poor writing/gameplay cases. However im probably biased since i spend most of my time playing games.
An amuseing thing that you see with games with good graphics and poor gameplay is that after a while the average quality of game graphics have increased so much that there is nothing positive left to say about the game.

And yet, nobody plays the original Robotron anymore... Come on, graphics are one of THE biggest pointsin a game. I mean, no matter how good the gameplay is, if the graphics are terrible, nobody will play it. All adequet games have good graphics, all GOOD games have good graphics and good gameplay! I mean, that's why I play Final Fantasy X instead of Final Fantasy VI now, yet I still think that VI had a better plot! No, we could ALWAYS use better graphics. I mean, back to the comic, you all like it because of its awesome plot and good art, but think of what it would be like with an awsome plot and GREAT art! Then TOTALLY BITCH'N art! And so on... Never stop going for improvement! No matter how good you get, you can always get better! Encourage Dave! Go Dave! You can do it!

It can NEVER get too good!

Yes it could. It could get so good that our eyes imploded and our skulls caved in. Then how are we supposed to read it?

True, but once it gets that good, the memories alone will suffice
