Just in case this slipped by anyone, but Jack is in the final ballot for "Best Anthropomorphic Comic Book or Strip" at the Ursa Major Awards.<P>YEA!! Kick ass.<P>he is up against
1. "Get Fuzzy", by Darby Conley.
2. "Kevin & Kell", by Bill Holbrook. 3. "Living in Greytown", by Dave Kelly.
4. "Usagi Yojimbo", by Stan Sakai.<P>I Wish you luck Dave!

CONGRATS!
Hey, we all know who to vote for.<P>While K&K is in a place for many hearts and has a recognized fanbase in online comics.<P>While Usagi Yojimbo has that mainstream appeal that makes it a polished jem.<P>While Greytown and Fuzzy are both talented in it's ideas and characters, both a fine read.<P>It's Jack that should get the Ursa.
A comic that makes you question your own ideals on faith and justice.
Question what makes a person truly worth paradise, and how the eyes of an innocent see Hell.<P>Once you read, you'll think of Jack.<P>You are drawn into the emotion driven storylines, visceral yet stylistic artwork, and the building mythos.
What comic could make you wish to see furry Hell each few days?<P>For me, the characterization and stories make the strip worthy of an Ursa.
Tales that bounce in your thoughts like a barbwire superball.
Characters that you can find love, pity, anger, and fear for.<P>Just a damn fine comic.<P>- OT Additives -
Who said there are only seven sins?
Dante and the Bible.
Does the Bible mention Central?
In this universe Hell has no boundries, and Heaven has standards many could not stand before.<P>Also, this Smiley feels more like me. <A HREF="http://aconite.furvect.com/acoface.gif" TARGET=_blank>http://aconite.furvect.com/acoface.gif</A> <p>[This message has been edited by Aconite (edited 02-01-2002).]

Hell, both Dave's might get a book deal anyways since they finished in the top 5. <P>I'd bank roll the books for both myself in fact, and add in Kit 'n Kay just because it's also cool, but so it goes...<P>Mako

i wish i could do comics...
i can "draw" I can "write"
ecept the christainy heven-hell thing...I like Jack...but then again the focous is on the hell part, not "fluffbucket adventers of Bob the angel and friends"
I like to write demon kin as "missunderstoon rightfully existing beings" it'll make the others who kill them (heros and angles) look bad
(darklight reversal theroy see me for details)
Get fuzzy is cool...Bucky is crule and has an attitude problem....
I think David should twist things more...or mabye thats my job....
Heven being some uppity cliqueish membership populariy club...
*nods* that'll make peole froth with rage

Yes Motiki Man made his screen debute in RTD2 where he can be seen in my car that Black hat and lonewolf steals I've enlarged the segment of the panel he apiers in.
I offten hid things in comics. No one's yet found the two battle droids in this arc of Jack;)

Hmmm, http://jack.keenspace.com/d/20011003.html
That brown guy that's speaking to the grave says "Why did you left?". That makes me think that she commited a suicide which sent her to Hell http://jack.keenspace.com/d/20020111.html .
