Grendel reborn? Can't have that...
Fergus pulls a lever on his staff, and an array of evil looking blades emerge. Fergus opens another portal (portals are fun, kids!) and lunges his staff hand through. the head of the staff emerges inches away from Grendel's chest, but then bounces harmlessly off his metal hide. Fergus removes his arm from the portal, contemplates the dented blades, and makes an adjustment to the portal. He jabs the staff through again, but this time the daggers emerge just beneath Grendel's armour, ripping wires and playing havoc with his inner circuitry. (sorry about this Grendel. You don't mind being picked on at random, do you? Nothing personal <IMG SRC="http://www.keenspace.com/forums/smile.gif"> )

Ashton and Cypress have been lacerated horribly from the unexpected attack, Ashton was cut badly on the chest and arms, Cypress lucked out and only was cut on his left arm (Although the gash is deep).

Ashton staggers back and bumps into B-15 and Pirtu who at the time go into a portal that leads to the center of the arena to gear up for a fight awat frome the fighters... Ashton falls into the portal as it closes. Ashton is blacking out from loss of blood, although he is now safer from the fighters who are prepared to fight in the stands. Cypress gripping his arm, angrily boots Fergus in the chest making him lose his balance and stumble over a row of spectator seats. Cypress wincing from the pain seems to melt into the ground, eventualy dissapearing only leaving behind his dark blood as a marker of his presense.

Cypress reapears beside the fallen Ashton and sends him through a portal that will bring him to a place where he will recover from his wounds for a while, but Cypress still bleeds and the fight must go on...

BTW, that Nikia thing? I had the speakers set to loud and it gave me a good jolt, hope I get to find my pulse someday! LOL!

Yay! soon to be out first encounter with Foddercat... if only I knew. Oh, and back then I have no excuse for not using my healing magic... maybe I was distracted? or maybe it simply helped the plot along. BTW the only reason I was hurt so bad was because I did not have my armor on... oh well!
