Damm, people have already mentioned Iced Earth and Blind Guardian, which is listen to all the time
Especially The Suffering Trilogy on the "Dark Saga" album reminds me of jack.
There is also Judas Priest with the number "Hell Is Home" standing out in relevance to Jack...
But that's generally what i listen to when i read Jack...

Well, there's this piece on the first WaveAid CD (don't have it accessible right now, so I can't tell by who or transcribe the lyrics) --

"Calling All Angels"
a theme for Farrago

All I remember of the lyrics is "Calling all angels" is the first line of each stanza and "We are fallen..." is the first line of the chorus.

o_O That's wierd. I could have swore that NiN did the Doom OST.

Very sure. All of Dooms music was MIDI-based anyhoo, and sounded AWFUL unless you had (or even have today) an exceedingly high-end soundcard. Even my spangly modern SB-Live 5.1 can't do it properly.

Heheheh, a lot of the tracks sound like elevator music even if you have a good card!
