Good question! Though we do know that the laws of hell aren't unbreakable in any physical sense. Drip's "relationship" with Arloest is, after all, supposed to be against the laws of hell.

'Not Yet'.

I love that line. Foreboding at its best.

Well, that made a nasty mental image. I read that thing an hour ago and I'm still shaking. No, wait. It's just because it's so cold in here.
But why does that mental image remind me of "Sucks to be Matt"?

I am eager to see the struggle between noble, brooding Jack and ruthless, devious Drip; Fnar in the middle, perhaps held aloft as he is held by both Sins... Drip on the right, Jack on the left. The struggle between good and evil, but with a twist, so it is, rather, the struggle between the lesser evil and the greater evil!

Ah the Epics! The Epics are what make it all worth while!

Well, Jack would be the repentant evil - making a difference in hell after doing SOMETHING in life so horrible that it earned him the position of embodiment of the sin Wrath.

Drip - well, he's even more driven by lust in his hell-born existance than when he was alive, and now has the power to carry out even more sadistic tortures on his victims than he ever could in life. True evil.

As for Fnar - true neutrality at the moment, but I can see him somehow intervening - getting in Drips way later on, and perhaps even helping Arolest.

What I find interesting is that Fnar seems able to manifest himself both on the earth physical and spiritual planes. Serious potential for some plot twists later on.

I think Fnar knows enough to keep out of Drip's business........he IS innocent, after all, but he seems to have a nack for avoiding trouble. Read the archives again. Fnar has never been harmed or, for that matter, threatened by any of hell's creaturs, so I don't see why Drip would be the exception.

Why would Fnar do anything? Because drip is doing very bad things to good people - Hells inhabitants are, by and large, an unpleasnt bunch. Arolest, however - well, yes, she did make a deal with Drip, but used those powers to help people, and save the lives of others.

Of course, I doubt Fnar will do much any time soon, but I'm hoping that he'll become less of a neutral observer and begin to influence events to a greater degree.

I have a hunch there's a crisis of conscience ahead. Just a guess, but hey, you never know when I might be right ^_^

That's because the conditions around his death were 'special'. Jack told him that he can't be hurt. Fnar can't be affected by Hell, because he's something like Spectator in there. Looks like he's protected by the Lord himself.

I would never want to see anything bad happen to Fnar. The innocent Fnar. I mean if somthing did happen and Jack found out...yikes..well. Jack is wrath. I would feel sorry for anyone who got on Jacks badside..except for Drip he would deserve it.

I just don't get why it took Drip so long to know who Fnar is. You would think as a sin of hell, he would know all (or so I'm told).

Most likely he simply wasn't interested while there were far better 'targets' around (such as poor Arloest).

What a minute....(flashback)

Didn't we get the hint that Drip might BE Fnar's father (or so I'm told).

I think old drip's god something in the works. Probably along with the other more ambitious sins. don't forget, he said "I need to live again."
Im thinking of some sort of revolt or coup on their part to open the door and get out of hell, maybe with Vince and more of the elusive Kane?

Hmm...well apart from Drip having his games spoilt, Kane must notice when Silverblue fails to turn up....
