Scary or not, I love all horror movies. My current favourite is "Jeepers Creepers"
*walks away, whistling -Jeepers Creepers, where'd you get those peepers? Jeepers Creepers, where'd you get those eyes?-*

You know, who went to see the resident evil movie 2 weeks ago. It was done by the same director who made Event Horizon.
I was very skeptical at first, but that movie was surprisingly good.I think it even fits into the storyliine of the books as well as the game very well

If you don't root for your team, THEN GET THE HELL OUT OF THE STADIUM.

Hmm... I don't find horror flicks all that scary. I don't have a favourite one just for that reason. I think they are all rather silly. But a movie that did and still does scare the heck out of me is The Dark Crystal. *shivers*

Okay, Peter Jackson's (yes, as in LOTR) Dead Alive isn't necessarily a scary movie, it's just the single most violent movie ever to be put to film. It follows the day to day troubles of a young man in New Zealand dealing with zombies. There are so many classic scenes in this movie that I'd hate to spoil any of them. A look on the back of the dvd case should show you there's a scene called "Lawnmower." Can ya guess what that's about, eh? Oh well, enough of me ranting. Go buy this movie now!
Hello kiddies...
I love that line from the Cryptkeeper.
Heh, where is the Old Witch and Vault Keeper anywho?!
[Read the comics, you'll see them]
Well I like many horror films. Parents were fans of horror and would bring many films home for the kids.
Here's some I hold dear.
I remember getting to see 'Nightmare on Elm St.' with mom and dad back in the day.
Which is also a very scary film in the very concept of the inevitable, you sleep you die.
'The Shining' is good in the very high art way the atmosphere of that hotel itself is a character. Those stacks of papers just make you wonder how far back, even before the hotel had Jack been a "dull boy."
'Event Horizon' Handles hellscapes even a touch better than 'Hellraiser' did, and how one mans insanity given shape can bring about what he deserves. Hell just needs a border from technology, like a doorframe.
'Night Breed' A Clive Barker classic, takes you into another world of freaks and mythologies. The Mask of that Psychologist killer haunted my dreams for a while, and anything that could spook me...deserves a spot.
'Phantasm' Try living next to a Mortuary as a kid and seeing a film where, ta-da a kid is dragged into a nightmare that involves a mortuary. The backyard was across from the cemetary and I had a lot of times watching the funerals and hearing the crying off in the distance...oh wait off subject... Phantasm, good film.
'Return of the Living Dead' is one for the books since the end has a classic scene of the goverment deciding to nuke the city where this was all going down...
Louisville, Kentucky.
Guess where I lived (and still do) when I first saw this as a kid? The look on my face should had been framed.
'Dawn of the Dead' Not so scary as mesmerizing/funny. This is what you would want to do if the zombies came to town. take a stroll through a local mall and think how it would be for you. Dibs on Cinnabun.
'The Blob' One of the rare cases where the remake was better than the first. Way better. Also one of the first I had seen in a long time where a kid gets killed...dear lord the twist they added was perfect too. Allways room for jello.
Well there yiou have it... head to a video store three states over, give a fake name and addy to get a membership, then rent rent rent. Never to return these classics
[Disclaimer: Dont do dat]

Mikaiten, are you talking about "The Dark Crystal" with Jim Henson's muppets? That wasn't that scary. . .
I'm such a wuss when it comes to horror movies, I absolutely refused to watch any of them. The five minutes I saw of the end of Candyman kinda haunted my nightmares for a while after that, and even Resident Evil freaked me out a bit. That was still a cool flick, as was Blade 2. . . But I digress, I'm way off topic.
I saw a very freaky movie a few years ago. . . called Prince of Darkness. A bunch of students go to a deserted church to research a large cylinder filled with green liquid, and all hell breaks loose. Cool flick.
