I don't like to toot my own horn so I'm not going to... I would like to be a part of the voice acting, but I have no experence but I am also willing to learn. I am 17 so I can do a "teen" voice if needed. I would be more than happy to do get a part as an extra, I just wanna help.

ok now it's time to toot my own horn, literally. I am a bassist(2 years) and a trombone player(6+ years), and if you need any extra music (in the lower regester) I would be more than willing to make recordings and send them out. Music is my thing; and I'm more than willing to share my gift with the world, all you have to do is ask.

I tend to agree. Take a look at what JRR Tolkein has to say about the nature of Elves, especially through the eyes of Sam Gamgee. His elves basically compare straight away to your angels, somber and distant, the disempowered omniscients, almost.

Ok folks,this has beena wild week for me,so heres the updates:

Voice actor tryouts: Saterday the tryout scripts will be on the website for jack and drip,more to come.

Uploading recordings: my email service for big files is kaput,if anyones got a idea for a place to upload the files,id appreciate the help.

Site Update: its almost all there people,
a few more sections to finish!

Teaser update: Teaser is NOT finished,will be by monday.(hopefully)

Script update: nothing new.

Music Update: nothing new,other than working with the local band saliva to have limited rights to use one of their songs.

Thats all folks,keep checking the site for updates!

Heh, just to latch onto this long post... Yep I'm gonna try out for voice acting; I have some experience doing a bit of DBZ fansubbing as Videl (teenager girl, 'strong' type -_-;;) so I hope to help out! Must get mike... ^_^

BTW tiltwolf: Good luck on this project! I'm sure it'll be great! Also for the voice files, people can upload their sound files to their own site/server and send you the adress so you can listen to them. Howzat? ^_^

I'd give voice acting a try but I guess my English accent would be a bit out of place amongst the all american cast list. *chuckle*

Anyway, my site is hosted on a provate T1 server. If anyone needs someone to store the files online permanently (I know the space furnation offers can seem rather limited at times) or files mirroring for download, the offer is there. Since I've closed onissarle.com I've stopped sucking up bandwidth with pictures so I might as well use it for something constructive.

I kinda visualize Drip with the Crypt Keeper's voice (laugh included)

I'm still not sure how Jack should sound like though.

Okay folks. All voice try-outs for characters in the Jack Movie should be sent to...

You don't have to worry about your file size, my limit rates in the gigabytes and my bandwidth is more than sufficient to download whatever you send in. I'll also be moving them out of the inbox on a daily basis. Get as many as you can in within the next week, they'll be uploaded as I get them. After Tuesday of next week there will be a two week gap before a bulk upload of everything that gets sent in during those two weeks (I'll be visiting the states during those weeks). After that I'll go back to uploading any and everything as and when it comes in. After I get back in April, I might change the email addy for submissions to something like jack_the_movie@btinternet.com NOTE: this addy isn't set up yet, don't send things to it, they won't go anywhere), we'll have to wait and see how lazy I feel at the time.

Talk to Tiltwolfe for details about when they'll be available for public download. If he doesn't put together a page for them to be downloaded from, I will to save him time. *chuckle* It'll give me somewhere to stick all of the pictures I've been doing.

Ok folks,heres a quick update:

There will be a teaser online(finally)
either by 9:00pm central time tonite
Its not long,its pretty short,but itll give you some idea of whats going on here at the studio.

The format for the teaser is widescreen quicktime or letterboxed mpeg,im pretty sure everyone can play them.Do me a big favor,please download the teaser instead of trying to stream it.I dont have a streaming server setup with furnation,and there might be one in the future,if i get my own domain.

Thanks again to Onissarle for the email space for submissions,ill have a complete character listing and story synopsis online by friday,along with character voice scripts.

If you dont already know,this is going to be a one-shot deal,since a series would take too long to write,and im working on doing something original with the established characters.Plus a movie sounds cooler eh?

Also,this movie will have no ties to the continuty of the current storyline,as with all movies,it'll be a redone script.For example,im creating a origin of jack that may not be anything like david is writing.

The Big news is that the 3 main characters will be Jack,Drip,and a unnammed angel,who will be disclosed pretty soon.I like thinking and writing on a grand scale,so this is going to be a big production.(as big as a webmovie can be anyway)

Ive also had a few emails about availability outside of the web,like Dvd or Vhs copies of the movie.Right now,im concentrating on getting this off the ground,and will worry about hard copies for collections later.
