Well, I could give a shot to the voice acting. Just give me the lines and I'll arrange myself a mike.

Hey Tiberwolf why can't you post some lines for different charaters so we all can pick the charater we think can fit for our own voice and then we send the result to you by E-mail!
Then it will be easy for you to pick the one who fits best!

Hoy, I wouldn't mind voicing Sins or Angels... I'll have to get a better mike than the cornerjob on my laptop, but if it means a shot at being involved in this I'm all for it. ^_^

Jacked up and good to go.

EDIT: Lobbying for myself, I've been in a few professional theater productions and local commercials and radio shows. ... Er, ha! ^_^ Okay, I'm done now.

EDIT 2: Oh! Also, a way to look for great Jack-style music [to me, anyways] is VNV Nation. Songs like 'Frika,' 'Serial Code, most of the entire Empires album, 'Genesis,' 'Liebestod,' 'Solitary,' and whatever else really get me in a Heaven-and-Hell mood... They're techno-industrial, but for some reason I always associate some of their songs [i.e. Serial Code, Honour, Chosen, etc.] with a medieval setting...

EDIT 3: Heck! In the last event, I also compose music. I track electronica in MODPlug Tracker and I also write ballads/symphonic pieces with Finale Notepad 2002 and have a whole gang of friends who are big music geeks and a good rep with the music teacher. If you need, like, music music I'd be glad to help. I'm not really -that- good, though. To this point I just fuddle around with notes and see what sounds good.

You know what the idea of a series actually reminds me of, is Broken Saints.

A beautiful combination of comic books and flash animation, with great music.

Hey Dav... could you give us an idea of what kind of tone, accent or whatever you expect for your characters? at the very least we could have a better idea at whom we have a decent shot for.

Personally... I'd like to do Drip myself, what kind of voice do you expect our favored psychopath to tot? And for all those who haven't had much of a chance, how can we train our voices not to crack and get the proper pronunciation to avoid "Script reading tone"? Welp, I'm good, have any answer or info for this ol' lug nut?

Speaking as a once-upon-a-time high school stage actor;),
1) Believe in yourself. Don't be someone trying to sound like somebody. Confidence is very key.
2) Motivate yourself. Be your part. I can't explain exactly how to do that, so try your best to fall into the situation.
3) Every time you say a line, make like it is your last performance. Half-try's != good.
4) Pay attention to everything that doesn't concern you. This includes setting, the lines of the other characters(after all, you are -reacting-, not just acting), perceived motion and percieved environment.
Just a few little hints for you voice actors. I have a rather plain voice, unless I've just woken up, so this doesn't precisely concern me:)

Also, as far as consulting David on the various aspects of things, beyond getting permissions and general good graces, most creative endeavors are left to the imagination of the creator, so beyond a few guidelines, running everything past David for clearance might result in a stale product, know-wudda-mean?

Tiltwolfe, is it just me or is your main page just a splash screen with no clickable content? Are you just hiding away the content only to be seen by those who possess the magic URL?

Krikkit,

I think his plan is to upload all the content then release the page, to avoid having to put up 'Oh, under construction' pages.

Hmmm... I think I'll give it a try once the script and emails are posted...

Can usually do deep voices and sometimes accents; heh, even a diplomatic one if I want to.

Anyway... *stands on the line*

Forgot to ask: Does it count if the person has a program that can modify voices (echo, reverb, pitch...), so he can sound ,for example, out-of-this-world or demonic? Or you prefer natural voice acting?

I would think that some moderate post-processing might help to add an edge to a character's voice, if the mixture was at least 90% "dry".
Just another un-called for thought on my part.

Ive been in the broadcasting business off and on for a while, and digital enhancement of voice is usually a post-production item.

If you have the hardware/software to change your voice, great, but what i will be looking for is clean, clear voice,no enhancement.a good voice actor who can read the lines with enough inflection will be great, and enhancement will be added later.

For example,an angel would have a ringing tinkle added to their voice,to sound more like the person was singing.A sin,or another demon, would have a rasping echo added,to make them sound sinister.

Anyway,back to work!

The way I've always thought of angels [not that it counts at all] is that they're kind of somber... They're probably not so very used to interacting with individuals - they have a 'everything blonde' outlook on "life" [as it were] that perhaps makes them unable to react to certain actions... Or perhaps it's that they know full well they shouldn't mess with anything mortal directly... So they try to instigate as little adverse reaction as possible. Demons, however, are adept at luring people around... I'd think they'd put more focus on refining their speech.

Heaven - The power to judge.
Earth - The power to act.
Hell - Neither the power to judge nor act.

I was thinking about that while watching "The Magic Flute" at the Lyric opera today.
