I picture Jack having the voice of James Earl Jones. The others... I dunno. Guess that doesn't help you though. I wish I could animate!

Ah,i wish Mr.jones worked for free,But david had the idea of jack sounding like the owl from secret of nimh,so i guess a person with some acting ability and a deep voice, with a little enhancement, would work too.

Hmm.. and I was thinking of doing a simple flash animation of Jack wandering through the wasteland as it were. Hmmm.. sad.. when you are unemployed, you seem to have all the time in the world for projects and such..

Well, I admit I'm curious.. though it takes me time to do something at times, unless I'm really motivated.. heh, I can be a little lazy when it comes to things  I've spent 2 years in art school learning animation.. well, the computer animation kind.. thing is.. I fell more in love with traditional 2D animation instead.. Flat polys just bore me compared to actual pencil and animation paper. Now if only I can get a job doing this professionally.

Did any of you get premission from dave before you decided to make a 'animated' monstrocity?
You think there is an actual possibility they did? You are turning into such an optimist in your old days.

As i said,id appreciate the help, but this isnt going to be some half-baked piece of garbage, its going to be a full blown 4 alarm "lets see if jerry bruckhimer wants to produce it" thing. If anything,it'll be something for david to be proud of.
This is going to take time,im pretty sure itll be a full year before its done,so if that helps to widen the scope a bit.

I would love to see this project when it's finshed. Even better, I would love to aid in the production...

Every production needs someone to do the bicth-work...

You guys should ask Dave Kelly about doing some voices, I bet he'd work great with some of the characters. Unlike me who has this embarrassingly high voice (for a guy).
I suppose I could vocalize for Fnar, a child, or an evil guy with a high raspy voice, if you guys need any help there. I'd also be willing to help out financially.

if you need some art done that David doesn't have time/interest for, I could fill in. I don't have any art posted anywhere (lies, but the art I have up is what is called "really shitty art"), but I did color in some of the Trixi and Tet series, if you check the fan art section... at the veeeery bottom.

I'm told I'm a damn good artist, but I'd only do a picture or flash piece if I had gooood reason, because I'm a perfectionist with ADD and a full schedule. cheers.

Dave's told me that he thinks I could voice Fnar....I'd be interested in doing so once we get our recording apparatus working again (we had a huge falling-out with our video/sound cards recently and are still putting the damn thing back together). Just offering

Two things:
1.Jack voiced by Keith David(the voice or Spawn from HBO)
2.Title song "Who we be" by DMX

I dunno, I think "Fiddler on the Green" by Demons & Wizards (a project done by members of Iced Earth and Blind Guardian) would make a very nice intro piece. It could go along with meeting Jack at work. Here's the lyrics, sorry its so big:

FIDDLER ON THE GREEN

Sad voices they're calling
Our precious girl she can't be gone
How bitter this morning
When daddy's darling
Went out and started her day

Wasn't there a dream last night
Like a spring never ending
Still the water runs clear
Through my mind
On the field I can see a fiddler
The fiddler on the green and the sad boy
I took him too early
Would you mind
Would you mind
Would you mind
If I take you

To be with you
To be with you
To be with you
To be with you

The sun seemed bright
The air was clear
The air was clear
A trick of light
Turned red into green
She saw the light
Her face was pale
Her body smashed
Her beauty's gone

Isn't it a shame
The reaper said
He is quite alone here
And still waiting for you
Oh I really did fail for the first time
Spoke the fiddler, poor old fiddler
The fiddler on the green
The fiddler on the green
It would be nice
