Help!

I think the title of this thread is a cry from her remaining sanity! I will help pay for Carolyn's therapy. No expense is too great to return her formerly loveable self.
------------------

:: pouts ::
Aw, guys, come on...gimme a break here...I was 11 when MMPR first came on, and I was addicted until the end of Zeo. That itself was a stretch, though...by that point I was sure that *I* could write better scripts. But at least give the first series *some* credit - it didn't suck as much as the stuff now does.
Plus, need I remind all the Trigun fanatics that when Zack left, Adam took his place...played by a certain Johnny Yong-Bosch...who also happens to do the voice of a certain yellow-haired needle-noggin gunslinger? I rest my case.
PS: Luchito - it's perfect! I was ecstatic when I saw it. You drew us exactly true to life.

Pssst ... perhaps no one told you, but the voice selections for the dub of Trigun SUCKED BIG TIME, as did the dub itself ... it's almost unwatchable ... thank the gods for DVD and subtitle!!
S.W. Winchester

Okay, I've been on a major Power Rangers kick lately (the original through Zeo only) and I'm looking to find the video tapes. Does anyone know where I can find them? Or, does anyone have them and be willing to sell them?
As for the reason behind this obsession, blame Fanboy Otaku Gamers Club.
Also, expect a strip series later on to deal with MMPR...I promise I'll get the strip running again soon!!!

Let me guess. You've never seen the sub? You'd be dissing the dub too if you had access to the sub ... belive me on that ... the Japanese Voice actors are SOOOOO much better for thier characters ... Vash actually sounds like you'd think a character like him SHOULD sound instead of like some 2nd string Power Rejector.
Besides, I'd NEVER dis Vash. I'm dissing his american voice actor. HUUUUUGE difference. Of course, what does one EXPECT from Pioneer Dubs? They're almost as bad as Viz dubs or Fansubs by Hecto (whooo) ...
You come here to my place, you sit down with me, we grab a tub of popcorn, and we watch the entire Trigun series in SUBTITLE. THEN you tell me I'm wrong. And yes, you're welcome to bring guests, make it a real-life road trip, et. al. Hell, we'll turn it into a mad anime fest.
If you think I'm kidding, I'm not - just let me get the entire series first.
-S.W. Guess what: I *have* seen the sub. And yeah, I know that the American voice actors leave a little to be desired. I've bitched about them plenty of times. But I'm still fond of them, and some I prefer over the originals.
But no dissing Vash, in *any* language.

Well, the invitation to join me for a mad anime fest STILL stands, but seating is limited (and crash space moreso - I can comfortably house *ONE* guest for such events normally, three or four if mom's out of town, five if someone plans to sleep with me), so book early!
-S.W. P .. p ... p ... pow ... what the HELL?
*blink blink blink*
*develops a facial tic and uncontrollable twitching*
Umm ... uhhh ... well ... umm ... I ... think you can find the tapes on E-bay, if anywhere ...
Now stand nice and still so I can send the nice men in white coats to take you away and give you some serious professional help ... and I mean intensive doses ...
As for a strip dealing with it ... just give me advanced warning so I don't get to deal with it : my hatred of MMPR is rivaled by few things on earth : mimes and cardboard crust pizzas come instantly to mind, followed closely by my most recent ex and the Pokemon cartoon. Barney is also up there. I leave it at that.
S.W. Winchester
------------------
Yes, well, you see, it's a long story, and I'll just have to explain it to you all later, right now all I know is we have to keep shooting things.

Yeah, doodler. You need help. PSYCHOLOGICAL help. MMPR is lame and repetitive, and those suits are ridiculous. I don't think that your loyal readers will appreciate it, but it's your comic: do with it whatever you want.
SWW: Yeah, and you forgot the teletubbies. And, perhaps, bananas in pijamas (i don't know them).
To Doodler again: would you believe I forgot to tell you about this? My apologies in advance for both the delay and the way how I drawn you, including a small error in coloring, due to me working on a monochrome display at home. (Yeah, those two were supposed to be you and Chris)
------------------

I have no backyard. A gaming session works for me, but I live in a condo in the center of the suburban sprawl.
I'm sure something could be arranged, and besides, with the mosquitos and West Nile Virus we have here in NJ, you're a lot safer INDOORS during the night.
