In Australia, Its about 85-95 cents per litre, depending on the week. By the way, thats AU$, I cant be assed converting it to your money. And to think about a year ago it was only about 65c.

In Denmark gasoline is pretty expensive.
About 8 - 8,50 kroner / liter and that is (just cheking) it's a bit over a (US) dollor per liter.
And why do we always make international prices in USD.
Europe has it own currency now, hahahaha...
Use is men
(why is an USAian called an american)?

I would guess it's because USA stands for United States of America, which ends up getting shortened to just America. As far as I know, it's the only country on the continent to contain the word 'America' in its name.
Gas around here is about 70 cents/litre(I assume) Canadian, or at least it was last time I checked.

I haven't double-checked my calculations yet, but it seems that Americans pay less for gasoline than you people do. I was interested in this because my sociology instructor mentioned a boycott on gasoline in England--the government eventually brought the prices down.
We pay about $1.50/gallon here in the States--it's different at each gasoline stop. In case anyone is interested, here are the rates that were posted in American money:
0.85 AUD/L = $1.77/gallon
0.95 AUD/L = $1.96/gallon
8 kroner/L = $3.69/gallon
8.5 kroner/L = $3.92/gallon
0.70 CAD/L = $1.69/gallon

Im not quite sure if this is technacally correct(or if I spelt technically correctly), but most countries have both a name and a, well, lets call it a title. eg.USA title="The United States of", and their name is America. Australia's title is "The Commonwealth of" and the countries name is Australia. Japan's title is "The Empire of" and their name is Japan. I think most countrys have their own titles, but only America can actually be assed to use it as their name.

That sort of makes sense, but remember that America refers to the entire really big continent, where as Australia and Japan refer only to the specific countries (I think, though I've had different teachers tell me different things about whether New Zealand is part of the continent of Australia or not). I personally don't mind USians being called Americans but it does seem somewhat greedy. However, it's probably too late to change, because in my mind at least, the USA and America are very closely linked - I don't think of myself as American, even though I live in North America.

Nah, that would make you the sole human inhabitant of Mars.
Though you could form a community there and call it whatever the heck you want, I should imagine.
