Hey people! I'm bored, and since no one has posted ANYTHING in here for two days, I'm going to post something interesting! Let's have a Yin and Yang Trivia session!
Points are +1 for each correct answer, +2 for bonus questions. No deduction will be made for wrong answers.
-------------------
Let the games begin!
------------------
Let's start with an easy one.
----------
Question 1:
In what comic strip was Kitsune first introduced?
------------------
"If you kill Link in the middle of the Lost Woods, will anyone hear him scream?"
"YOU'RE ALL STINKY MONKEYS!"
"Waiting Takes too long, and it never got anyone anywhere."
"For the honor of Numbskull, I am Shiba ba ba ba!"
[This message has been edited by cshell (edited 10-01-2001).]

Can you guess at least one influence in the creation of James Cooper? (bonus points for getting more than one name right)
Another bonus question: What comic did Jess draw before Yin & Yang?
Good luck!

I'm guessing that Savior of Grace was your previous comic. Glad you asked. I should read it again.

The comics I've drawn in order of their creation/runtime:
1/2 Files, 1995-6 (I heard somewhere that someone actually printed it out and sent Chris Carter. No clue if this true, but oy the art was bad then-I still couldn't decide between my eastern and western influences, and it got muddled.)
Coco & Mimi, PRINT, 1997 (The earliest possible versions of the Yin & Yang Universe. No I didn't pick the title, and it wasn't really my ideas. but Mimi would change names and later became Sarah, the predeccor to Kit)
Just Another..., PRINT, 1997-2000 (The first appearance of Jessica Idres, Y&Y universe style. Second semester on the Quill staff gave me complete control. No James, but one look-alike showed up in the the second strip.)
Tech Police, 1997, 1998, 1999 (I've redrawn the first 8 pages 10 times. -_- Owwww.....)
Savior of Grace, 1998-2000 (This is still online, and was fun to draw until my art changed dramatically, and didn't match. And Y&Y started, I didn't feel I could back.)
Yin & Yang, Print & Online, 1999-2001 (The high school version, slightly more chibi-style. Currently hidden away due to baaad art. Unfinished. One doujinshi remains in the M.O.M. archives, bless Tang's little soul.)
Yin & Yang, v.2.0, 2001- (Can ya guess. A convienent restart of the series that can't die. Rewrites: 3. Alternate Universes: 18 and counting.... Characters: 20+. Plotholes: infinite. Patches: 2. Catboys:1.)
------------------
Jess Idres, the kid who you made fun of in elementry school. Now draws Yin & Yang. Coicidence? We think not.

ManCat is more like it. Check the character profiles. We just haven't met him yet.

OK. New question. Observant readers may have noticed a strong classical influence throughout the Yin and Yang series. What works of classical literature/mythology have provided this influence? (There are many answers.)
No points for the Robin Goodfellow/Shakespeare connection. That's just too easy.
--

James Bond and Gary Cooper??
Uh, Well, you've a fox spirit, which is japanese thingy. And I'm sure there's gotta be a greek thing, because there's ALWAYS a greek thing. LOL. It just...has to be. Of any myths, the only thing that I can remember having a scorceress in it would be The Golden Fleece myth. Medea being a scorceress and all.
Well, I know I don't get any points for this one...heh ....
