End of the line [Oct 9]

The first thing that popped into my mind was, 'Why don't they both just fly off?"

Then two things hit me: a) Sissy can't fly while inside the field, and Eliza probably couldn't carry her while flying (those being the reasons they were on foot in the first place), and b) there's a good chance that the dragon can fly as well.

So much for that.

Eliza probably can't fly in the field either. It's not like she has room for much reaction mass, so a Pegasus generator would probably be more efficient.

The question is, is the dragon even chasing them any more? (Or was it even chasing them to begin with?)

Since the dragon lives here, I suspect it wouldn't have bothered to chase them when they're heading for a cliff anyway. Also, given that it's apparently guarding the mysterious box, it's probably instructed to stay near to that at all times.
It's not that I'm apathetic, it's that I'm ..... um .... OK, it's that I'm apathetic.

Quite the cliffhanger we have now.

I hope a master's in gravitics doesn't require much knowledge of aerodynamics.

Well, you have your answer if you'll check the LJ feed:

There's not getting aerodynamics, and then there's underestimating the degree to which Eliza is full of gadgets.

Both of which are bad ideas.
