Ozy and Millie lately.

Post by Allan_ecker »

Lemmie break it down for ya:

Goth Felecia -> Goth Stephan.

Goth Felecia + Goth Stephan -> Goth Avery

Goth Felecia + Goth Stephan + Goth Avery -> Goth Ozy, but only to scare Millie.

Goth Felecia + Goth Stephan + Goth Avery + Goth Ozy -> Goth Community

Goth Community -> Millie on Goth-kabonging rampage, weapon focus: Acoustic Guitar.

I'm glad we're on the same page now.

Unfortunately, you've lost me entirely. Have you been time travelling or Universe Hopping? Because in this space-time continuum, O&M have been on hiatus for the last week and a bit. Please check your Universal Universe Indicator Index and avoid yourself if you are in the wrong timeline. Thank you.

"Recent" is a relative term.

And here I always thought that the relative terms were cousin, aunt, uncle, gramma, grampa, neice, and nephew.

Anyways, the Gandhi statement does a lot to prove the non-existence of hedonists. Hedonists live for experiencing pleasure, but at the moment the reach a peak of ecstasy to which they cannot return, life holds no more meaning for a hedonist. The only thing left for such a person is to either discard his or her old ways for a new belief and life-style or rush into nihilism.
Gandhi, M. K. wrote:I wholeheartedly detest this mad desire to destroy distance and time, to increase animal appetites and go to the ends of the earth in search of their satisfaction. If modern civilization stands for all this, and I have understood it to do so, I call it satanic.... (YI, 17-3-1927, p. 85)
Mahatma Gandhi was a man of conscience and his advice was meant in that context. It is hard to make up tomorrow for the ills and wants one creates today. Is it not easier to do no harm today so that others, who live in the wake of one's life, will be untroubled tomorrow?

I'd think the solution to that would be obvious: Mix up a diluted solution of hedonism and pragmatism, such that you plan for that particular global maximum of euphoria to be experienced at such an advanced age so as to make it likely you will die of a heart attack in the course of it. PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
