You are the dude, Allan. But I'm still calling Alex a kittyboi.

Allan, it appears tha you've mistaken a "kittyboi" for a "skunkboi"

Different families of boi vary in their traits. in the mustelid group, the traits you have shown are usually evident. However, among, say, the canine group, the boi status is more based upon clothing and tail posture. And among felines, it's all about cuteness. Not the twink-style cuteness, but the cuteness of attitude, as well as the face. Dress can kind be a factor as well, but usually only to enhance boi status, not in the actual granting.

Mm, I suppose I can agree with that... However, Skunkbois definitely have to be slender, effeminite, and lustful. Pretty much required if you ask me.

I mean, you probably *could* have a beefcake skunkboi, but he'd have to be one of those vulnerable gentle-giant types whose ultimate desire is to be loved and doted on in spite of his ability to lift a freaking truck.

I wasn't aware that "boi" had its own definition. Then again, this shouldn't be surprising when I had sparked a conversation by complaining about some twinks online and my friends divided into two camps of understanding: clubbers and gamers.

Remove the http//, not the http://, to get it to work.

Is here.

On a note, I can't slouch whilst walking because my backpack restricts movement, and I have magical move-150-pounds-around-quietly powers. Hmm...

HEH, you should become a firefighter then, you would also get to play with all those big hoses. The shipboard fire-fighting trainer I had to go throught was no joke; the heat resistant clothing, self contained breathing aparatus, rescue gear strapped to the ensemble, thermal imaging equipment, and those darn rigid boots. For fun we weighed the gear before and after wearing, as well as ourselves. We each toted around with an additional 160lbs of dry equipment, which then weighed a whopping 185lbs in my case. Considering that I weigh 195lbs on a typical day that was like carrying myself around for the 3 hour trainer after which I could have sworn I heard them yelling from Niagra Falls to not drink it all. Um, I'd better stop now, I'm rambling quite heavily. BTW Allan, I love the seductive skunkboi, can I borrow him for the weekend? I want to give some of my homophobic co-workers a good scare, and then have some fun with him, naughty wickked fun.

I think you just wanted to have an excuse to draw a skunkboi. Not that I'm complaining. =^.^=

My posture: Bent over a computer keyboard; often whips neck or arms around to pop the joints. Hips and shoulders more or less parallel. Arms at keyboard.

My gait: Head level or down, watching to make sure I don't step in or trip over anything bad. Hips move straight most of the time. Back more or less trying to hold straight from years of carrying heavy backpacks. Sometimes wildly varies.

Me courtship: (early) "Um...uhhhh...errrrr...wanna go do something together?" (later, when I'm more sure) *glomp*

So, what, then, is the essence of that which we call 'Alex,' or, in turn, that which we call 'Kittyboi?' Perhaps the problem is the very nature of definition, of this existential, neurological, and psychological phenomenon of language. In thought, all things exist in their purest form by the very nature of their not-existing; it is only when it must follow the rules of terran existence that suddenly it is embued with a thousand different physical limitations. Suddenly it is a sound, with a certain wavelength and speed, fluctuating in a predictable, scientific, measurable pattern. It will enter another's ear, be converted into electrical signals, and only then reinterpreted. But can any word that we have, any set of configurations of mouth, throat, and breath, that can ever truly express the depth, the raw substance of the Tabula Rasa from which all consciouscness rises, and form in entirety the frame and painting, together whole, to represent the entirety of this which we call 'thought?'

Oh, by the way, Hi. My name's Sapphire A. Moerlevad. I like cookies. And circus things. And chicken. And chicken cookies. (Never seen a circus chicken, though. I thought about training one, but chickens don't like spandex. That's something they don't teach you in school. Unless you take the Animal Enternainment Training class, which was a prerequisite for Advanced Cow-Feeding.)

And all that stuff about thought. As A. A. Milne put it, "When you are a Bear of Very Little Brain, and you Think of Things, you find sometimes that a Thing which seemed very Thingish inside you is quite different when it gets out into the open and has other people looking at it. "

First, take a look at the skunkboi...
Then, take a good look at Pierce...

Anyone else see a bit of a similarity. Maybe the Skunkboi is actually Pierce From the Future!

Not likely, the skunkboi's approach suggests he is a top, whereas Pierce's demeanor is very bottom-ish; though he does have hos more aggressive moments. I can't remember one right now, but I am sure there has been at least one.

As far as I can tell, Alex's courtship style is just a tad more direct than is depicted in Allan's diagram... ^^;

In any case, that was both cute and funny... Allan, you should write/draw a Field Guide to Furries or something. :P

"I like the cut of this man's gibberish." - Apparently someone on the live-action Tick show.

Personally, I'm on a path that should, weight-wise, have me in the right range to reach 'boi' status, though I'm far too shy to adopt the mannerisms, save briefly in the company of friends.

As for Alex, I'd never thought of him as boi-ish, he seems, to me, to be inadequately swishy for such a title. Definitely cute, though.
