Spawn of Boredom

Post by Micro_Fur »

I was woken this morning by the two non-human organic alarm clocks that I share my apartment before the crack of dawn, on my day off no less. After staring at the ceiling for half an hour this came to mind and decided to dump it somewhere where someone might understand what it means. I'm thinking this could make an oddt bumper sticker, my car is still a virgin, or an iron-on for a t-shirt. Thoughts, opinions, confusions?

It's like a seesaw of LSD and hurty...

So confusion. What is it?

Sorry Gengar, I shouldn't post stuff when I'm sick; what a waste of a perfectly good weekend! It's supposed to be a graphical representation of the crossover between two subjects that I often find myself getting riled about, politics and sexuality. The background is the colors of the two most prevalent parties, Democrats and Republicans. The word 'dead' has its gradient from the distinction between the heterosexual (blue) and the homosexual (dark pink, kinda fucia). The word 'center' has it's gradient from the colors for gays(again pink, but doesn't look bright because of the contrast with pure blue in the background) and black (lesbians, I know of a few at work and they know about me, we have our own little niche if you will :)). And the whole thing revolves around the fact that the center of the political gradient (at least stateside) and that of the SO spectrum are both a deep purple (recently adoped as the single most identifying color for those who are bisexual). So yes on a monitor that isn't claibrated properly it would hurt to look at, on paper however it is safe. Maybe I should just delete this whole thing. *Looks at Allan and yells* "Yeah, go ahead and kill it, I don't think anyone will miss it!"

No need to apologize.

If only the representative colors weren't all mixes of blues and reds, it'd be a lil' easier to tell.

:D

It'd be effective if there was some kind of hint as to the nature of what you're getting at, and if the representative colors were more widely known to people who are straight, like me. You lost me on it, but it is a nice looking pic either way.
